Just a quick question.

I recently discovered Daegon in follower, like mod.

She looks beautiful and interesting.

But...I have the impression that many prefer the old version of the mod than the current version, the 2.0.5. 

The one where Daegon is with his demon in love, Kaeseruis.

Is it me? Or is it people who don’t really appreciate the latest version?

I liked the old version, I really don't like the new one, and because of the behavior of the mod author I don't use any of them anymore (it's worth looking around on Reddit).

I'm currently using the version where it's the only one.

And I admit I prefer this version to the one with her demon.

I find her touching, adorable and sympathetic, and what's more, you can use Coldsun's replacer.

That's why many people were disappointed with the update. They expected romance, but it turned out to be completely different.

That is understandable.

In the version where she is alone, has several clues that show that Daegon is getting closer to the player.

Nicknames, confidences, everything.

 

And the author releases a version where it leaves the player like an old rotten sock for a demon who feeds on his blood.

With speeches of cold lovers.

And besides, you have to be an elf to get their favor.

I didn't like the new version. The old character was entertaining and lively while still grounded which made her fun to have around; and the new character pretty much only takes away from that. If you make a character a lot stronger or cooler without some other dynamics going on, it ends up taking away from that character. The bait and switch romance definitely didn't help get people on board with the new characters. Idk how anyone thinks it's a good idea to popularize a mod with sex-appeal and then give that character a (mandatory) boyfriend for her to be horny with while mocking you. Maybe she wanted to corner the reddit market. The weird stuff coming out of the mod author's discord makes it seem like the changes were either intentional spite or a severe case of yes-men okaying every thought that came to mind. Hope they get back on track though. The devs are very talented and have a lot to offer the modding community.

I found the translation of the new version but I would not put it.

I’m playing right now with Daegon and I must admit that I am attached to her.

I find it really nice and nice.
The funny and tender nicknames she gives you.

The way she says she’ll protect you and she loves you.

Everything was made for a future romance...well I tried to propose, she sent me to fuck saying "Tell me again about your old Nordic traditions" but a romance without being married to it would have been enough as for some characters (Ambriel, Auri, etc.).

 

I must admit that I do not really understand...this 380° turn of the author about Daegon. Put her in a direct relationship with a demon and make her openly laugh at the PC.

Moreover, I understand very well the discontent of most players.

People were used to having Daegon with them who was nice and tender with their character and suddenly with the new version, they find her with a demon at her side and who laughs at them in addition.

 

 

We go from "My sweet little dragon, I love you and wouldn’t let you down" to "Hahaha. I’m sorry but I love my demon. He makes me cum and make me happy. You’re ugly!" or you

have to play an elf necessarily to be nice to us. And besides, this demon, from the description I read, he eats her blood to feed himself.

Perhaps there would be behind that hidden patronage for the elves as race?

That’s how I feel a little bit.

Why did at first a folower that takes care of the PC to make at the end, a couple follower excited by a demon and who denigrates the PC.

It’s a bit silly.

In this case, the author should have done this directly from the beginning or else not put phrases of the follower who loves the PJ and specify in the description that it is not

novelizable or marriageable.

And I was surprised that fans of the excited Daegon Elves version threatened to kill people who disagreed with this version.

 

But that’s nonsense my word! For a mod what.

Probably prepubescent teens fans of this kind of things and emo darks.

And Kukuriel who enters their game to please them!

I don’t know, she could have stayed neutral and said "Woah! Wait! No war! I’m going to put the old version in the archives so people can have it and I’m putting the new version online too."

Instead, she’s siding with horny fans pro efle demon.

When you are a modder, you must remain a minimum neutral and know how to satisfy everyone and not only a small band of excited teenagers who threaten other people’s deaths.

 

Besides, it’s amazing that a mod like this could stay online on Nexus and not be blocked for a while.

Because when you look on the internet, it was a bit far anyway.

I think we should not rely on Kukuriel for Daegon at all.

She chose her clan.

Even when I asked her for a comment, she made it clear that there will be no romance and nothing for non-elfes players.

It's been a while since I saw Daegon with the old look, it was much better than the current one (although I used the ColdSun substitute).

The replacers and followers of coldsun are very beautiful and very pretty.

In followers, I particularly love Anja, Vixi.

Replace, that of Auri, Morgaine, and Nari. Nari not much mod to replace and his makes it much more beautiful.

I agree.
The Morgaine replacement is one of my favorites, but Recorder's is also very good, but I also use a lot of NPC replacements from him.

Remiel, Nessa, Eris (Light and Shade), Auri are my favorites. And Sofia is one of the oldest, next to Inigo. Skyrim is no longer Skyrim without them.

I forgot Vilja’s blonde too.

I also love some followers based on other games like Viconia and its dark and sulphurous side.

Selene Kates is also not bad, I find her quite sexy and her option to make you dance and funny.

Yes under 1.4.3, it is perfect.

He’s more of an elf but a demon.

I don't care at all about romancing modded followers but the idea of being their third wheel of all things is incredibly cringe. It's like when your friendship with someone gets ruined because they start obsessing over their boyfriend/girlfriend. Not exactly something I want to experience in a video game. lmao

Exactly.

Already it breaks the immersion.

And it’s creaky as you say. And frustrating.

Imagine, you are travelling with someone all over the world.

In England, in France, in special countries. To the point of having developed a deep and intimate friendship with him or her.

 

And then all of a sudden, there comes someone else you’ve never heard of who is your friend’s/boyfriend.

And...he drops you for it because he’s squarely obsessed with it.

 

Bah for Daegon, it’s the same

You travel with her and your character has become her close friend all along with what they have come across.

And suddenly, a demon from nowhere "says he is his boyfriend". Daegon becomes obsessed with him and your character stinks

and she doesn’t even care about him.

Plus, he’s really cheated the guy. His spells come from a cheat magic mod.

 

All to please a bunch of prepubescent teens and dark emos.

Kukurielle did not respect anything by making this maj. She could have at least left the old version available.
