Npc health instantly regenerates.

Hello.

I searched the tech support but I couldn't find anything to do with this problem.

So whenever i'm in combat my health is completely normal but the npcs seem to instantly heal all there health upon the point where they are supposed to die. I can't think what mod could be conflicting.

This normally happens when a NPC is scripted as essential.

 

Which NPC are you trying to kill?

there are many NPC who are not mortal, especially those who belong to a quest!

as for example, all jarl, various members of the dark brotherhood, thieves guild, all children. even if you will enter the camp of the imperial and storm coats are hosted, attacked, you can not kill the generals there.

es gibt sehr viele NPC die nicht sterblich sind , vor allem die , die zu einer quest gehören !

wie zum beispiel , alle jarl , verschiedene mitglieder der dunklen bruderschaft , diebesgilde , alle kinder . auch wenn du dich in lager der kaiserlichen und sturmmäntel aufhältst , angegriffen wirst , kannst du die dortigen generäle nicht töten .

Which NPC are you trying to kill?

That makes a lot of sense, I do recall marking most npcs (ie quest givers etc) as essential and none kill-able except it seems to have made them all nearly unkillable (they do die I just have to deal lots of damage quick), I'll check mods in mcm and see what happens.

That I know but every single npc? O-o I know vigilants of stendarr die cos i kill them alot >.>
