Armor Pickup Crash

Whenever I try to pick some sort of cuirass the game crashes.

 

Here is my load order:

Skyrim.esm
Dragonborn.esm

Do you have a custom female skeleton? First thing I'd try is removing any female skeleton in the data files and seeing if it clears up. I have a hunch that it's a BBP or similar conflict issue.

Do i understand this right?
You can't pickup armors from the ground, loot them from npcs or take them out of containers, without having an ctd?
But you can wear all armor that you aquired how? Console?

I can wear all the armor that is currently in my inventory be it from earlier pickup or newly added from console commands.

That was it. The problem seems to be XPMS conflicting with existing mods I have in the game, even though going through the mods' list some of the armor I picked were not modded. Thank you very much for the advice.
