belegost Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Callstack points to acheron.dll as the probable culprit.
traison Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 (edited) While I for the moment agree with @belegost, there is a few oddities here. The top 4 callstack entries I would assume are at least partially the vc runtime's error reporters, but why it ends in kernelbase.dll of all things is... odd. Also the instruction "nop [rax+rax*1], eax" confuses me. I didn't know nop takes operands, I thought it was a 1 byte instruction. Also, at some point one of the error reporters pushed this onto the stack: "device or resource busy: device or resource busy", which is again odd, unless you're gaming on a broken hdd/ssd or a network drive or something silly like that (usb stick??). Edit: OneDrive? But, one thing at a time, disable or otherwise change Acheron.dll. Edited August 30, 2023 by traison
VenomousOuroboros Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 I'm encountering the same issue. No discussion of kernelbase.dll shows up anywhere in Scrab's discord, nor in any thread here coinciding with Acheron. I'm running the 1.5.97 SSE, though. Everything else in my "Possible Relevant Objects" (I'm using the .Net Script Framework crash logger) list is within Skyrim.esm, except NiNode NPC Spine 2. Did you come to some resolution for this? It'd be a shame to have to ditch Acheron - I put a lot of hope into that replacing the Defeat system I'd been using prior to it.
traison Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 The .Net Script Framework hasn't produced a valid callstack in a long time as far as I know. Use this instead, and post the log here.
