Rubbish Skintones in Looksmenu

I'm having a hard time to get anything that approaches a normal pale human skin tone for Fusion Girl in Looks Menu.  If I use the lightest shade, she still ends up looking like she spent a month on the beach in Ibitha.  The preset I'm using has a number of requirements and they are all in place, but the result is still a kind of dreary, tanned and ill-defined mess. And I've tried a range of skins mods, too, many of which return the usual dark face bug.

 

I'm running Looks Menu, the LM Customization Compendium, and the Oni skins as recommended by this preset.

 

I'd be grateful for any suggestions on how I can improve the look of my young protagonist, or if there are any looks menu add-ons that could help. Thanks!

"Collection of textures and presets for the girls" on Nexus.  it swaps out a lot of the gross damage textures with contouring and stuff, just layer them like makeup to get the desired look.  If you are getting the brown face bug, make sure to check the resolution of all the face associated textures.  If you have 1080 or "1k" textures, ALL of them have to be that resolution except for the Spec.  If you run 4k, make sure those all match.  and so on.  Also, sometimes the brown face will go away after using any face morph, so you could try adjusting the nose or something and canceling it out.
