Racemenu SE opposite sculpting

Recommended Posts

Hi,
any changes I make in the sculpting window in Racemenu SE (with the mirror option turned off) gets applied to the opposite side of the face (not my image but it shows the issue).

I'm running SE (1.5.97) and the RM version I'm using is 0.4.16. I even ran the game with just Racemenu enabled but the issue persists.

I've never had this problem in LE. Is there an ini setting or something that restores normal functionality?

Thanks.

That's a feature, not a bug. Just roll with it.

I was afraid this might be the case given the lack of answers, but I still find it hard to understand why this is a feature. If I want to make changes to the right side of my character's face, I don't see how making adjustments to the left side of the face in the sculpt window is the optimal way to do that. I really don't get how this is a better way to sculpt compared to how it works in LE.

It's not. I was writing with tongue in cheek.

Haha ok. It did seem tongue in cheek but I wasn't sure. Mainly because I can't seem to find anything related to this topic so I was genuinely wondering if people are cool with sculpting this way in SE.

Looks like most are since this feature persists after all these RM versions. But I really don't understand why this change was implemented. There doesn't seem to be an option to even revert it back to how its in LE.
