Lolward Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 As the title says, Serana's skin color does not match her body, I'm using Koralina's Serana Replacer and until recently I haven't had this problem. SSEEdit shows absolutely no error and everything seems to be ok, I've also tried moving Koralina's Serana Replacer's plugin to the lowest possible and that made no changes. loadorder.txt
xXDeliteXx Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 (edited) If she has a unique body, confirm she has custom textures. Then you need to analyze it in NIFSkope, and check where the mesh is pathing to If you already tried moving it to bottom of load order, then load-order is not the issue. (At least not your plugin loadorder) If it's on Mod Organizer 2, then it'd be the left-panel load-order to be concerned about. Edited August 24, 2023 by xXDeliteXx
Tlam99 Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 1. Check bashed patch 2. disable enable 3. check skin path in nif and esp 4. check in esp on char the settings for head texture pointing to default or custom skin. 5 . Moving lo rarely will fix it if custom skin If no succeed, explain mismatch. Just a slight shade or is the body red and head green. All in all, texture path in esp and nif must be the same. 1
Swe-DivX Posted August 24, 2023 Posted August 24, 2023 You can also check if the colors are correct in the esp file. 1. Open Follower textures\actors\character\facegendata\facetint\folllower mod.esp\FormID.dds with Paint.net and use the color picker closest to the bottom center of the image (I think it's about a centimeter up). Press More to see the value in RGB. 2. Now open Tesedit and look under Non-Player/ Follower FormID/ QNAM - Texture lighting The values must be exactly the same 1

Then no, I'm using The Pure for CBBE with, obviously, a CBBE body. And I'm using Vortex

Could this the problem? In the game her head is darker than her body

Can't use NifSkope, even freshly downloaded it never loads and just freezes. The mismatch is a slight shade; her head is darker than her body but both are pale skin color

In the game her head is darker than her body This was the problem, don't know how this could happen, since I have never touched anything related to Koralina's Serana Replacer, (the only time I use Tesedit is to configure SkyFem whenever I add or remove mods so maybe that changed something, but I don't think so). I fixed it by changing the values (255, 255, 255) in Tesedit to those in Serana's DDS (205, 205, 205).
