no animation starting

Hey up,

 

had SexLab ancient version and it worked totally ok for me,

wanted to update to new one, I followed eveystep (I am no novice in modding)

it seemed to work well but no sex animation start at all, the characters just stand and my PC still has its control, nothing happens.

 

I tried everything I know of, then decided to clean up and return to old SexLab version with old FNIS, except that it doesn't work anymore, it says upon trying sex action : SexLab animation failed to star [-1]

 

I dunno what to do ....

has anybody a clue ?

I precise that I deleted everything and reinstalled everything with a particular attention in cleaning up scripts and source scripts, as well as fnis repertory, still nothing.....starting a fresh new game isn't solving the matter either....I am now losing my knowledge, any tips would be more than welcome, I reckon that SexLab 1.20 should need some rather drastic patch if it is so incompatible with its own former version to the point of massively breakdown preventing installation of former version even.....

my sole purpose now is going back to former version which was stable and functional....

as I was saying, thanks for asking me to read FAQ I actually did it before I post, this hardly is helpful for I have no problem understanding FNIS, my skeleton files and SexLab worked perfectly all right before I tried to actualise it to 1.20

That's when the breaking down occurred and re-installing the old version doesn't do the trick.

^{ok I finally found a solution,}

^{not an explanation of the problem but a way back to old installation, maybe that way back might help others so here I go.}

 

^{there IS a syntax error on the FNIS patch that concerns creatures, so I reckon it is very likely that fnis would for the moment work better without.}

^{To uninstall SexLab 1.20 you must be on the paranoid side: open it, clean it, then click on deactivate, save and quit, then, uninstall manually carefully ALL the folders that contain something from SexLab 1.20, be thourough and don't take it for granted that the meshes or textures folders are going to be the same for they slightly aren't. pay particular attention to Scripts and Source folders.}

^{when this is done open the plug-in manager and check off Sexlab, load the game and save it.}

^{Uninstall  all SexLab mods you have manually, same method as previously, load and save.}

 

^{when this is done you may need to use Skyrim Save Cleaner.}

^{Reinstallation works better if you install your skeleton files first, then use FNIS, THEN only Sexlab and FNIS again.}

^{install one mod per one mod, loading and saving game at every step for it seems that SKSE may have too much to do and skips or screws up if too much is installed at the same time.}

 

^{I did this and everything went back to normal again.}
