payes Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 So I've been trying to modify my body mesh and skeleton to get some longer legs on my character. But I haven't been very successful. I've been trying to adjust the translation vector on the pelvis node in both the skeleton nif and the body mesh. I've typed in the translation and applied the transformation through right clicking+transform+apply transformation. But it is still not showing up in game. It displays in NIFskope just fine. Does any one have any suggestions?  I figure the first thing someone will say is to change the mesh in 3ds/Blender. The problem is the mesh is already correct, just not displaying correctly.
Uriel Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 You can just use ECE/CME/RaceMenu sliders to adjust your character's torso to leg ratio, adjust height.
payes Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 Hmm, I was also hoping to get all of the females in game to have the same type of modification. Do you know how ECE stores these customizations? I am just curious to see if I can apply it across the board.
payes Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 Unfortunately not exactly what I was looking for in ECE. It changes the scale of the legs not only the length. I just want to make them longer.
Shaydow Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 Do NOT transform->apply movement of bone nodes in a skeleton.nif. Just move them.
