fapmcfap Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 So I downloaded Violated Heroine after seeing alot of hype on the internet, but there seams to be an issue. See, I've downloaded a program that allows me to just right-click something and run it with Japanese Locale, so that is fine, and i have 3 or 5 different versions of RPG Maker, and I'm 99% sure that one of them is the right one. But i launch it in Japanese Locale, and it gives me an error message with a bunch of squares, I try it normally, and i get this, "??? C:/Users/User/Documents/Notafapfolder/VH__01)130616)translated/VH???01_130616_translated/RPG/RT.Imt ??????" any idea what the fuck this is? I would have asked this on another site seeing as this seems out of place here, for some reason, but I didn't want to sign up to Hongfire just to ask a question.

This isn't exactly a direct answer to your problem, but just in case it helps: I stopped using things to run items in Japanese local a long time ago. I just actually go to the control panel, and change my system local to Japanese, and leave it in Japanese unless I need to change it for some reason. It makes things so much simpler and problem free. Every so very occasionally does it cause some wonkyness in English programs but it's worth it, in my opinion. Up to you though! And just in case you need a direct "walkthrough:" - open control panel - "clock, language, and region - "region and language" - "administrative" tab - "change system local" - Select Japanese and restart! No more fiddly programs!

souldead341 Posted October 5, 2013 Posted October 5, 2013 One other thing might be the extract of the files. You usually need to extract the files when the computer is set to japanese, otherwise it turns most of the file names to gibberish.
fapmcfap Posted October 5, 2013 Author Posted October 5, 2013 Thanks guys, got my problem solved. I installed RPG Maker 2000 and extracted the game while in Japanese locale, don't know which one fixed it but it's working fine.

VH is a mighty fine game indeed (Only wish the animations where possible to bypass, They can get a bit repetitive.) I have not heard of Riori Rpg however. What is that?

The sleeping beauty. Little brave. Stop the world. It‘s kinda full of necromantic, monster musume fetish and.. .. you know those people at same size with ‘serena‘. The best thing of the series is that all of the series occur on the same realm on different campaign set. If you play the other series, it became canon. Riori is a bit lazy so most of the animation are mostly reskin. It almost like super deep throat on rpg maker 2000, with VH sensation. All and all it‘s emily kinda game. ~^~
