FNIS animation problem

So, I recently eradicated Skyrim and re-installed it from scratch due to some abominable horrors... and everything is fine besides the new animations.

In particular, FNIS is not working on any character, and I know that I must have fucked up something during the installation. Thing is, the spell add-on works fine, the NPCs executes the animations without assuming the infamous T-pose, and SexLab works flawlessly. I updated FNIS with the tool many times, but Skyrim's people carry on with their normal activities.

Before re-installing I had no problem: everything played perfectly. So, can anyone help me?

Pretty please?

With a cherry on top?

You need to be a bit clearer on your issue.  You say the animations work fine...

yet FNIS is not working.  Specifically in what way is FNIS not working?  And if the animations are working, how can FNIS NOT be working?  It's a bit confusing.

This is the important part. If I force the animations with the spell, they work. But when they walk around and do whatever, it's the vanilla animation. Yeah, I should have added something like "it's not working naturally", rather than that. My bad =\

FNIS itself does absolutely NOTHING to vanilla animations (walking, running, swimming, etc).  Think of FNIS as a framework so that modders can add NEW animations that can be initiated by the other mod.  For example, the dance animations you download with FNIS (the idles Add On) are initiated by the add-on mod, not FNIS itself.  FNIS isn't even a true mod in the sense that there is no esm/esp with the main download.  It's an outside application that modifies the Skyrim behavior files so that NEW animations can be accessed by mods added to Skyrim.

Again, FNIS does absolutely NOTHING to vanilla animations.

Uh, that's troubling news. It means I'm an idiot. I had an ADEC/TBBP body before and walking and running were different. So it was IT. Sorry for wasting your time man.
