maddadicusrex Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 Animations were made for me. I use an XBOX controller and when the animations are activated, they start out out of sync and thus end up clipping. Changing poses a number of times will usually sort them out, but not always. Any ideas? Thanks
Allnarta Posted August 13, 2023 Posted August 13, 2023 This is engine iisue and AFAIK cannot be fixed. I tend to make animations with this in mind, to avoid clipping. 1
maddadicusrex Posted August 14, 2023 Author Posted August 14, 2023 (edited) With the basic included Sexout animations, the call for position seems to happen at same time. My customs have the npc get into position first, after a few seconds, my character responds but the delay automatically puts them out of sync to start. Is there something in the custom animations script that might be missing in regards to timing out the pose, proper? Edited August 14, 2023 by maddadicusrex
Allnarta Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 No, it's completely random. Sometimes it's called at the same time, sometimes game trips a few frames before it for one of actors, engine processes a lot of things every frame of it's "life". In majority of cases animations will still desynch after few seconds of playing even with same-time start. That's how it is for FNV, Oblivion, F3. Fix for it, if it's even possible (which I doubt), should be made on internal engine level. 1
