Sexlabs scenes fading to black and freezing Skyrim on start

I've encountered this issue after sexlabs working completely fine in my 150+ hour playthrough so far. All of a sudden, Sexlabs scenes will fade to black and the game will become non-functional, forcing me to have to close with task manager.

 

The first time it occured, I completed a markarth quest. I ended up rolling back to a save prior to that quest starting. I then decided to do some other quests with SLabs working fine but after 3 hours or so I am encountering the issue again. 

 

I've seen others mention this issue in the past but there doesn't seem to be a definitive solution. Any more insights into this matter?

So here are two papyrus logs that end when i get the screen freeze, apparently they both call out a dwemer trap for some reason...

1st check your mcm settings i do not remember but some mods adds ( blinders or vision reductions ) zaz or toys and also aroused see if there is a function like to check or uncheck .

 

2nd it could be a windows or system update done without telling you removing some permissions . 

 

3rd in papyrus log i see some vr.esm , 3d missing . Did you install a VR mod or anything for VR ? check your mods and versions

It seems there is no solution the only way is to pick an early working save ( as you did ).
