Clarity on FNIS

I want to make crystal clear on which FNIS works with the new SexLab  v1.2 

 

The requirements section reads

 

Fores New Idles in Skyrim (FNIS) REQUIRES FNIS 4.0 BETA 4.2 OR NEWER AS OF v1.20  

 

When I go into the page FNIS page I find 

 

FNIS Behavior V4_0 Beta 4_2 _ For MODDERS and EXPERIENCED users               

 

that came out on september 29th 

 

Which is what I downloaded.  But everyone keeps talking about the NEW FNIS  which is 

 

FNIS Behavior V4_0 -- ALWAYS necessary               

 

that came out on October 2nd.

 

Now I haven't been able to get my animations to trigger properly and I am thinking its my install so I am going to re-do that but what I really want to make sure is if I have the right FNIS installed.  Now I know its says or newer but still with everything going wrong with my Sexlab I just want to make sure I can eliminate FNIS as the problem . I have also downloaded these:

 

FNIS Creature Pack 4_0_22,338 unique downloads3,101 downloads755kb size

 

 

 

FNIS Idle Spells V3_5 -- ADD-ON for the spells182,340 unique downloads

345,543 downloads3,051kb size

 

 So please just let me know which if any of these FNIS downloads is the right one.

Use V4 that came out on the 2nd for Sexlab 1.2 along with creature pack 4_0_3. Any problems you're having are user errors. Uninstall and reinstall then run Fnis again. Along with make sure any mods you have installed are updated to the newest Fnis version and remove any that aren't properly (uninstall the mod with its MCM option or stop their scripts with the console) until they are updated. A lot of people on this site like to manually install their mods, if you do as well, make sure that you have removed all trace of any Sexlab mod that you have updated for the new Fnis not leaving any old files in your data folder.

Ok thanks for the help. I have downloaded both using Nexus Mod Manager.  

 

Here is the list that I have of currently compatible SexLab v1.2 mods:

 

SexLab Matchmaker

SexLab Aroused v20131001

Sexlab LoversComfort v20131002

 

Also should I run the game for 48 hours to make sure all the old scripts from the former FNIS have run out before installing the new version. The reason I ask this is there is just so much different information out there and I know scripts are a tricky thing.

Follow exactly what is said on the Sexlab main page's update section. Exactly

 

You can't run out scripts by running the game for 48 hours, just like saying "Bloody Mary" 3 times into a mirror with the lights off wont make her appear.
