[SSE] Skimpy for PC, normal for everyone else?

I have been using BadDog's CBBE 3ba vanilla clothing/armor replacer.  It is possible to choose a standalone version in the FOMOD.

What I would like is to have the skimpy armor standalone, but not have to craft it.  Instead, what I'd really like is to be able to loot vanilla clothing off npcs, but when my PC wears it, it is BD's armor.

Is this possible?

The armor in question:

converted by Acro748 from BadDog1978's Skyrim LE creation:

Thank you.

Not 100% on this but what I would attempt to do is duplicate existing ARMA records and switch their meshes to the BD ones. Then set the race to one that only the PC can use, ie. YgNord. Finally add these new ARMA records to their respective ARMO records and I'd imagine the game would pick out the correct meshes, given the race is correct. I belive the argonian and khajiit helmets and hoods already do something like this - if I'm wrong, use these as a reference.

Edit: and I'd probably automate this because there's no way I'm going to click through some 300 outfit parts and variations or however many there is in Skyrim.

Excellent, thank you for your reply.  I will need to do a little research . . . ?
