yo, my game is crashing and the logs say:

Error: has_trait trigger [ trait was null ]
  Script location: file: common/scripted_triggers/2D_portrait_triggers.txt line: 22 (phaze_species_trigger)

That is unlikely to be the part of the error log causing your crash. Make sure you are not using 2D characters in 3D sex scenes.

I am not doing anything, it's just crashing randomly

As mentioned on the last page: The issue is with the new speicies system paradox added. Sometimes the children inherit a mix of horse and human DNA. Since horse characters are 2D, they are "Missing" DNA. Horses or half-horses are supposed to have traits. This has been a very frustrating issue to try and solve. It's future is up to debate in the reworking of the mod.

I can solve this issue by adding the horse race in the same way the "species" races are integrated in "set_species_portrait_interaction" (and in "Futa Consequence - Birth" for compatibility to not require this process for each children).
From there, using a cheat mod to add any other species trait, I use the "set_species_portrait_interaction" and it fixes the black silhouette, to only correctly leave the horse portrait.
I believe it is because the interaction, when multiple race trait are on the same character, will change the ethnicity to the species other than horse and then set it back to horse, re-initializing the lack of 3d render. I then remove the added trait with the cheat mod and the character is fixed.
I am fairly certain an interaction or an event (at birth or regularly) that changes off and back on the ethnicity would fix this issue.
but then again, I don't have the same understanding as you do on your own mods, I could be mistaken.

tldr : I'm sure it's an ethnicity issue, the horse ethnicity is not correctly set to the offspring

Correct but it is because of what I mentioned. I made the species interaction force a enthcity change. But with the horses there are more conditions that trigger them, and those conditions make use of vanilla pregnancy giving you a miss mach of genes.

Hello, i want to say that i love the mod, its a great work and i had lots of fun with it. I was seeing that you had problem with the horse blood/anthro implementation, i was thinking why not do neither? Make so that pregnacies between a male horse and a female human give birth only to a male foal or a human girl, that way it mantains the purpuse of replacing men with horses and it may simplify your work. Again big fan of your work, if you accept suggestions i have some ideas but i know now you are all hands on deck with your Futa mod (saw the dev logs in ko fi and it looks that you are cooking something awesome) so maybe in the future. Ironically, having the Female Horses etc was a requested feature, originally there were only male horses. Running in circles with these ideas!

Great mod ! Well at least the parts i can see. The MILF part of it works perfectly but the -Beastiality- part is a problem. For me there is no -Carn Beastiality Game Rule-  in game rules. And that is probably why the NPC named -Molly- never shows up and why this whole part of mod doesnt work for me ( tested few times ). I used -debug mode and checked, all -horse related- traits are there. Any idea on how to fix this or maybe a workaround on that Molly NPC. Appreciate and help !

If you haven't installed Carnalitas, install it. There you will find the game rule you are missing.

Can i request for this mod have reduced event spam? or aleast turn some of the events with no real choices into notifications, like i said in another mod thread it get annoying with some many events firing up at once(worse if you have other mods with their own flavor events). CK3 late game performance is already bad you add event spam on top of it and it become unbearable to keep playing at one point.

It has already been stated this mod is getting rebuilt from the ground up

Hey there, love the mod friend, but i have a question.

 

How can i add more portraits to the horse-blooded trait? from what i have seen with barbershop there are 8 for all adult categories and 1 for each child gender, but how would i be able to add like 4-5 more portraits to them?

 

I have made the new pictures in .dds format, added them to the gene group and made the modifications to any files that references them, but no matter what i do i can't seem to exceed 8 portraits maximum, the others beyond that appear blank when in-game.

 

Is there a step i have missed?

It's beena while since I looked at the code. If they appear blank but they can still be selected, it means they cannot find the dds file. This might mean you missed a file, or even worse, you spelt something wrong. There are four different files you need to add the new entries into I think.

While comparing to see what i did wrong i found this :

 

Don't know if it was intentional on your part but in your species mod, in the bunnies portraits folder in gfx, there is a copy of the milfy mod and its mod file.

Hello Phaze, first I wish to say i hope u are doign well and that u have had an amazing Christmas. and Second your mods are absolutely amazing Ive been really enjoying them and I am super looking forward to trying out the updated futa mod. But I have a question or more like wanting to confirm something i kinda vaguely remember seeing a while back but cant find the post. I remember you said you were planning to update and redo some of your mods but I couldn't remember which ones u were just waiting to finish the massive update for the futa mod first. if its not to much for me to ask which mods are u planning on rebuilding and redoing?

It was only this mod that was being done over due to the demand form the community. The others are all in a good enough state.

You've got to then break the betrothal and marry them normally once of age. Only other option would be to disable that whole system for landless.

it was just to keep you up to date on bugs with the current version of the game i know you have your hand full with the current mods you have
