Updated Everything, Sex Animations won't start.

Guys basically NONE of the current SSL plugins other then I think Aroused has been updated to work with SSL 1.20 and it's quite possible the new set up for SSL has messed with something in SOS but I can't be sure about that one.

 

Basically all SexLab plugins are broken til they get updated? Means I wasted 7 hours uninstalling Skyrim and all mods and doing a complete install of everything     :(

actually lovers comfort submit aroused and devious devices have all been updated to 1.20 radiant prostution on another thread is confirmed to work by some ppl i have tried reinstalling the framework manually and by way of NMM but no effect on the issue and i also noticed atleast in my game their are no voice files period even for power attacks and the undressing animation repeats aswell i have also noticed even matchmaker which i had working in the alternate start live another life mods room broke when around npcs.

 

and i have put all sexlab mods both at the top and bottom of my load order nither works i would poll ppl who have it working and ask if they didnt have the framework before

as i think the upgrading process is fundamentally broken or

 

1.20 is bugged as many ppl have many issues even with a fresh install and the voice setting does not save either if you pick one in mcm so i think ashal needs to fix this cause this many ppl with problems is not a coincidence :edit lovers hook which is a uility also is updated to 1.20

I just did a brand new clean install, followed directions exactly. Had SexLab Romance, Necrophilia, Arousal, Comfort and a few others. Once in a while could get some dialogue through to advance towards the sex animations and then nothing.  The NPC would just stand there doing nothing. Not sure if its cause of SeXLab or a conflict with some of my other mods but every single NPC in the game kept giving me the message that they were already married and it would be extremely difficult, that message includes all the marriageable followers from mods. Just deleted everything except FNIS and SexLab framework til the plugis are caught up. I'd post my curret load order sans all SexLab plugins except SexLab.esm but can't remember how to do the spoiler window frame or whatever.

I really don't think its Sexlab itself. There are issues but I think it is the new/old mods interacting with the new revamp Sexlab. I am certain the powers that be are working on the issue and in a few days it will all be rectified. It's hard to complain about something that has provided so much In game fun and is also free. In the meantime, I think I'll go kill something.

I wouldn't know how much fun SexLab has provided in Skyrim. I just got the game on Tuesday.

i understand sexlabs prior fun but that is the thing ptruble it is prior and i have tried only the ones that are updated to 1.20 and the only animation that seems to trigger is female masturbation and even then no sound is played and the voice within the framework itself will not save when a certain one is selected.

 

i do no discredit ashals prior work just simply say that with 1.20 he dun goofed and messed something up cus his mcm itself for the framework is having problems the animations are not triggering the cursor isnt removed when the one animation i have working starts and their are no voices at all in my game for the player character now not even power attacks no facial expressions occur either for female masturbation the only working animation for me.

 

now given all these problems that only occured when i upgraded to sexlab 1.20 either it is its fault or i have a absurd amount of conflicts that dont cause anything but sexlab not working and my chars being made mute which i am more inclined to believe the former rather then the latter again ashal does great work and i by no way discredit that but he needs to fix this

So this is weird.

 

I made a clean save with absolutely zero sex-related mods or frameworks (and waited a little while in-game just to be sure... 5 minutes?)

Taking the advice of others saying that Matchmaker worked, Once I reinstalled SSL 1.2 and FNIS' Official 4.0 on that clean save, I only added the Matchmaker plugin on my load list (near the top underneath all the "Unofficial Bugfixes")

After running FNIS and ReProccer, I load up my save, and they were right - animations worked! In fact, the only thing I found so far that didn't work was the ragdoll ending. I had none of the same problems like "flying sex partners" as others did.

 

It gets better. I decided to keep installing one mod at a time and test it out, waiting until each MCM menu registered. The ones I've tried so far actually worked!

Submit - Haven't thoroughly tested all of it's features, but so far the dialogue script absolutely works. I'm so glad this one works now!

HentaiPregnancy - Totally works (though I still have that same 'post-sex no-saving' issue I've had since way before the big 1.2 update, so I uninstalled it - I seem to be the only one with the issue o_o)

Squirt - Because the others worked, so does this one! Woohoo! (I should note that I did download TMPhoenix's hotfix, which I assume was the whole reason this worked with SSL 1.2 at all )

 

I realize some people did pretty much the same thing as me with less favorable results, but I thought it would be worth sharing my steps and my progress in case it does help anyone.

and is their any sounds playing like the voice? and any repeating of animations?

Sounds play as normal (I do have Vanilla Voices installed, though that shouldn't make a difference) and animations play and stop like they normally should. I personally like to manually advance sex stages instead of leaving it set to automatic, but nothing loops out of control or anything.

 

Just got home though, I'm gonna play around with things summore and report any major setbacks as they happen.

So I have returned to 1.15b. Some have said that it doesn't work when downgrading, but I did find that by downgrading FNIS to 3.5 the animations are working. Just FYI that this Amy be an option for others until 1.21 comes out. If anyone needs a copy of 1.15b or earlier I have them though I am not sure Ashal wants anyone to keep his past work on here.

he prob does not considering he removed 1.15 i am gonna downgrade all the way down to fnis 3.5 hopefully the now updated mods still work with 1.15 but yea its crazy how many issues 1.20 seems to have and i know its not my install i have all the required files and i have made like 5 clean saves still nothing so it has gotta be ver 1.20 that is the problem.

 

personally i looked up reproccer its for skyre compatiblity and i wonder could 1.20 only work for ppl who use skyre? cause no matter what i do it doesnt work for me

Me either. I have 1.15 working and that's fine by me for now.

Listen I shut down every single mod I have except for the patches then made a save.  Installed only 1.2 then match maker and then thing still doesn't work.  It is the same thing over and over and over and over again, the npc will masterbate but not engage in sex.  I followed the install to the letter even directly installing 1.2 into my data file and not using NMM and it still does this.  And what pisses me off is that I have wasted 5 days on this one mod and countless hours and still nothing works and now I have to pull it out of my data file manually.  This has been a total waste of time.

 

And to tell me its my install is ridiculous  , I managed to install your last framework and I have managed to install about 50 other mods with no problem.  I followed the install to the letter and its not like its complicated it's very simple so how can it be the install?

hence why i think it must be the framework at fault but i doubt ashal would admit that and it will be a long time most likely till he finally takes note and fixes it so sadly in the mean time we all are just gonna have to deal with it or hope we still have 1.15 lol.

 

oh and i do empathize with your frustration lots of ppl have said in other topics its not the frameworks fault but if installed with nothing but itself and it still does not work it must be the framework at that point cause i followed the instructions to the letter too only to have nothing work and whats worse i could not even downgrade cause 1.15 would not work anymore after i had upgraded for a reason i do not know and my characters had become strangely mute aswell.

 

:edit: also for those who would think i didnt have compatible mods i have aroused and lovers comfort which are shown to be updated for 1.20 and i tried raidiant prostitution which many ppl said worked with 1.20 and none of it worked

I'm having the exact same problem :/

 

I have:

 

Sexlab defeat 4.0

Sexlab Aroused/ Lover's comfort

Sexlab matchmaker

 

defeat 4.0 does not work at all for me. Apart from the menu appearing. (the only defeat that sort of worked for me was 2.0).

Aroused sort of works, however no animations work for lover's comfort.

And matchmaker (like many posts I have seen) only works on the target, however they only masturbate, no sex happens. :/

 

Is this completely sexlab frameworks 1.20 that's the problem?

it may well be considering 1.15 worked just fine for me and aside from changing fnis like 4 times cause of what the page said and upgrading to 1.20 literally i didnt change a thing and yet nothing worked and the voice selection in the mcm menu does not save we will honestly have to wait and see but if you have 1.15 i would use that until whatever the problem is is fixed and you might have to do a fresh install as 1.20 seems to taint the game even if uninstalled or downgraded to 1.15 or a clean save created.

 

personally i have been thinking over a couple days that perhaps ashal messed with the skyrim.esm somewhere and messed it up or maybe even released the framework with something broken in it as i dont believe he has anyone test it for bugs like these for instance

unfortunately I have not got  1.15. I guess I will try to reinstall it and maybe even start a new game. I will say if it works or not. 

 

Question, when running the FNIS, I only tick the "SKELETON Arm Fix" when updating the FNIS Behaviour. Should I try to tick any other boxes?

I have exacly the same problem as all others here. After updating to 1.20 and FNIS 4.0 nothing is working - submit, defeat, matchmaker (only solo animations work in this case.) I was trying reinstal, start clean save, nothing helped.

 I have had a few problems with getting it to work.

I would be able to get others to masurbate, but I could do nothing.

but One thing that temporally fixes my sexlab animations is...

Cast SexlabzConsensual on someone and then quickly hit the same person with sexlabzmasturbation.  i will then have sex with the person.

For some reason this "unsticks" my animations and I can use them again, but Once in a great while it goes back to nonworking and I have to do this again.  I'm still looking for a permanent solution though :-)

I have the problem too, I went as far as to deactivate all SL mods, cleaned up all stray files I could find, ran FNIS which showed only the FNIS mods at that time. Then I loaded up a cleaned save, waited around a bit, checked MCM to see everything was gone, waited some more and saved the game.

 

Installed only the framework first, all seems fine, menu shows up, so I configure it, wait around, save, reload, wait more, save, quit. Installed Defeat 4, still all fine, configured it too, went to test. Defeat works, since I get down to bleedout, get stripped and have the NPCs hang around cheering. But no sex ever starts. I can leave the game for half an hour there, still bleedout and NPCs cheering next to me (except if I pick no transition, then they just walk away after stripping me).

 

Edit: same thing with Submit, everything's fine up to the point when sex should start, but then the NPCs simply stand around staring. Both Defeat and Submit have been confirmed working with 1.2(1), so I can't really figure out what's wrong.

Your wasting your time. Enable the payrus log checking in your Skyrim.ini file(change the 3 log 0's to 1's).

Check the log. You'll find the framework is failing to assign your character to a thread slot. Basically this means the framework doesn't consider your character an 'actor', so no anims are assigned to it. This was supposedly fixed in the 1.21 beta, but obviously not.

If you have other SL mods running at the same time, you'll see masses of faults relating to them as well. But that's because they take their que from the framework.

The only solution is to delete the whole framework, related mods, fnis etc, make a clean save, then re-install 1.15 and everything else.

Or wait and see if Ashal figures it out. Could be a long wait as he's busy playing FTL.

I just updated to sexlab 1.21 and defeated 4 and so far the only issue was one of my zombies tried to walk away during sex.  So far everything else seems to be working fine.  Hopefully it will continue to do so :-)
