Hello everyone! I've been wondering for a while if I should make a post about this, but this bug in my game makes brothels apparently not work as intended. It turns out I only recently decided to try this mechanic in my game, even though I've been playing KW for about 6 years now. So, creating a brothel, recruiting workers, everything else all works fine. But as soon as I get to assigning a schedule to a worker (Monday - ..., Tuesday - ..., Wednesday - ..., and so on) and click on any day, the brothel management window closes immediately. Script error text:

Seems to be something related to the UI. Tried changing the autonomy settings just in case, but that doesn't seem to be my case. Thx for help

Overall, KW is getting better and better, I've customized it with s3pe, the way I'm comfortable with it. But at the same time, I've highlighted a few other things as I've been playing that I'd like to mention, if you don't mind. 
- disable masturbation on the toilet (when sim aroused or higher)
- make the moodlet (that is given to a sim after being denied sex) neutral. (as I understand, it is better not to disable it, as it is responsible for how often a sim will offer woohoo to another sim)
- disable marijuana addiction or make it occur after large amounts of use
- skill achievements (challenges). I wonder if they will be finalized?
- make abortion available at any stage of pregnancy
- small change. disable autonomous purchasing of condoms by lesbians
- Is it possible to add a separate conversation option to the pie menu, or as part of the talk interactions, something like talk about sex? Where sims could discuss woohoo with other sims, talk about their sexual partners, their tastes, and so on
- Is it just me, or is the porn career not working? Last time I tried it, the sim was getting several calls and the game was glitching badly. For example, UIs of different sims were mixed together into one, multiple icons were highlighted at the same time, etc. I can't say for sure, the last time I experimented with it was a long time ago, but progress didn't get any further than those calls, or there had to wait for a package in the mail. The option in the debug menu that sent the sim a call doesn't do anything, because the dialog says that the sim was sent a package with the scenario, and that's it.

I've used the Brothel stuff quite a bit, and it mostly works for me. One thing that you might need to do before scheduling workers is to make sure that you have a brothel location open for them to be assigned to. You may have already done some or all of this, but these are the steps that work for me to assign workers to a brothel:

  1. Create Brothel Business: use the smartphone, or a computer
  2. Recruit some workers: click on the worker, then Brothel Manager, then recruit. Sometimes you will have to offer more money. Whether they accept can be based on the relationship level between them and your brothel manager, on how kinky the sim already is, etc. If you have stuff set to "Always Accept", they are much more likely to accept.
  3. Manage the actual brothel schedule: On smartphone or computer, Manage Brothel. Then go to workplaces. If you don't have any, create a brothel, which will give you a list of all the valid places that you own. After creating a brothel, the lot name will show up in the workplaces underneath the "Create Brothel" option.
  4. After creating the brothel, it will default to being open 24 hours a day. You can change that by clicking on the lot from Manage Brothel > Workplaces. Brothels are open 7 days a week, and open the same hours every day. If your brothel is your home lot and you want your sim to be able to sleep, you can change the schedule. The Schedule option here will show you the current worker schedules, but it won't let you change them.
  5. Assign workers to a lot: Manage Brothel > Employees. There are categories for Whores, janitors, and bouncers, and they all work roughly the same way. Go to Whores, and you will see every worker that you have currently recruited for that role. Click on a sim, then click on Assign, to assign them to a lot. This will bring up a list of ALL lots. I do not know if you can have a worker actually work on a lot that you don't own, I always just assign them to a lot that I have created as a brothel.
  6. Schedule workers: Manage Brothel > Employees > [category] > [worker] > Schedule. You have to set a schedule for each day. When setting the schedule, you can only schedule them to shifts that occur during the open hours you set in the Brothel Schedule earlier. I.e., you can only schedule them during hours the brothel is actually open. For Whores, there are several categories of things you can have them do. If you set them to "Free time", they may or may not spend that time at the brothel. For times when the brothel is closed, workers will be forced to basically stay in their homes. If they try to leave, KW will send them back home. This will effect any other things they would normally have to do, like work in a separate job, etc.
  7. There is a button at the top of the daily schedule that isn't currently labeled. It says something like "apply schedule". If you click on that, it will set every day to match the current schedule. The pop up that confirms if you want to do this labeled with a much clearer message.
  8. When you return to the weekly schedule, there is a button where you can apply the same schedule to ALL workers. This only works if workers have already been assigned to the brothel.
  9. When you hire a new worker, make sure to assign them to a brothel. After assigning them, you can go to the schedule of a worker that is already scheduled, and you can apply that schedule to all employees if you want, but any workers that are not assigned will not be included in the schedule.
  10. Scheduling a worker as a dancer will have them spend time dancing on the X-PERT Dance Pole. This will arouse customers, and can also earn tips, which go straight to the brothel's bank account.
  11. Any earnings that the workers pull in go to the brothel account, including the manager's earnings, if the manager solicits customers. You can transfer money from the brothel to your family funds by going to Manage Brothel > Reports. This shows how much total was netted each day of the current week. If you click on the "Funds" line at the bottom, you can transfer money between Family Funds and the brothel.

I believe that it was never completed before Oniki stopped working on the mod.

Yes, thanks, I did it all over again, created a brothel, bought a brothel (a bar with beds), assigned opening hours to this establishment (everything works fine here), well, and hired my first prostitute. I tried to set the schedule through brothel management, then the brothel itself, employees, schedule, and got to this window. If I try through the employees, the window closes on its own, as I described above. But here it is essentially the same, but when I click specifically on time intervals in the schedule, not on days. The error text is the same. Perhaps if the mod worked properly, it would further give you the option to select a specific couple of hours to be counted as working hours? At least, that's what the STBL resource says

Sorry, I don't have any more suggestions, then. I've had lots of different problems with KW, but this part of it has usually worked, and the brothel stuff has definitely been pretty stable with the Kinky Mod updates in this thread. I have had a working brothel with build 418, and just now creating one to get some screenshots works on build 420.

If you make the animations I will add more stages, the vaginal stage has a 25% chance of occurring, but this can be done in any number of ways.

I generally play with KW autonomy disabled because at some point for me sims will just not do/try anything but KW interactions anymore and while this is amusing sometimes...it's not how i want to play the game. Sadly, this disables several features i actually would like to remain active and offer NO manual alternative:

1) Domination: Ordering a Sim to take off their clothes. The interaction is played, but since the actual taking off part is an "autonomous response" the target Sim will agree and just not take off their clothes. I consider this one a Bug.

2) Woohooing with a Sim fallen asleep on the couch with Knees spread seems to only be able to happen autonomously. There simply does not seem to exist an Interaction in the menu for it, even though it obviously should be, like trying to woohoo with a Sim cleaning something, which IS available in the menu. I consider this one a bug as well.

3) Groping a willing Sim will NEVER start woohoo with autonomy off. The woohoo should start (and would, if autonomy was on) - but does not. Related to (1), i think.

4) Bonded Sims starting to woohoo wile sleeping in the same bed and being aroused. This intraction cannot be triggered manually, so with autonomy off it simply won't happen. There are several variants of these autonomous sleeping interactions.

5) Brothels/Whoring don't work at all with autonomy off. Since Brothels are quite a buggy and unfinished feature in general, i guess that is to be expected.

6) Taking pictures during woohoo for the modeling career seems to just not take place with autonomy off. I think it should. There is an option for picture frequency while woohooing. So i do not see why this feature should be disabled entirely with autonomy off.

 

I think 1,2 and 3 are bugs (low priority, obviously) and i just wanted to add them to the pile.

 

What i would love to see in the long run,though, would be for actions like whoring - where i actively+manually start the situation/plan the task for Brothel - work even with KW autonomy off. I told that Sim to go to that place and Solicit people, i think that counts as a manual task, does it not?

Another wish i always had which has nothing to do with autonomy would be a new magic spell to turn females into shemales and shemales into females. I know you can do that in the Debug menu and there is a potion which does "something" like that, but the Debug menu is very immersion breaking and the Potion cannot be used as an on/off switch. It either lasts for a set duration or forever. I would much prefer a toggle and the ease of use of a spell compared to a cumbersome potion - maybe it would be more fitting as a fairy curse than a witch spell.

 

Would it be possible to allow female Werewolf Sims to be shemale in only one of their two forms?

 

On a similar note, a potion/spell to put a female into ovulation would also be great!

This should be possible but currently there is only one shemale setting for each Sim.

I found a few that for some reason the positioning was off and this was for am/af , I was playing with move and got centered but when it played again was off. Just wasnt if the move option was just for animators or what.

 

I think I will add an offset and maybe also a teen offset to the animation XML resource just like in WW, that way you can adjust the actor position without having to change the animation CLIP, with this you may also be able to reuse the animation CLIP for other stages to some degree.

I don't think this is directly related to KW but I can't rule anything out, actually I don't even know what game mechanic the University Meet & Greet is, it doesn't appear to be a University or Academic situation, maybe it is just an Alarm that is set when you arrive, try checking the game Alarms.

This is just an issue with the interaction text, I will check and see if there are others for shemale Sims.

There is no setting like you describe although an Always Accept for singles is not a bad idea, however KW uses the base game Reputation system and will honor the Faithful and EternallyFaithful Reputations.

I have never encountered such an issue, sounds like you have a conflicting mod installed.

 

On a general note, KW is not compatible with any Sims3GameplaySystems core mods, like AwesomeMod for example.

I have also noticed that Sims created with World Populate and Lot Populate doesn't always have 5 traits, KW uses the base game CAS.Genetics.MakeSim() API to create the Sims, I will investigate and see if something can be done to randomize all traits.

I'm using 409(420) and every time I interact with a Cat, script error is generated.

Damn, please excuse me, I didn’t save the versions of the code that I included in the post. After you posted the 420 version, I added a visible condom, buffs with sperm on hands and chest, and a new character trait: submissive. I completely forgot to document the changes, even to myself. This is unforgivable, if you don’t want to understand the code that I changed, then you shouldn’t include it in your package, it’s my fault, I myself should have correctly and completely described all my changes. I have attached all the pieces of code that I remember that I changed and the packages with the necessary resources. I also included the compiled .dll

Stopped receiving incoming call girl call and escort situations. The message about the call appears in the corner of the screen, but there is no call. There is also no possibility to accept the call.

Registration with the agency is going well. I don't know what's wrong.
It worked on 409.
Maybe something went wrong?

I also actively use this part of KW and do not observe any problems with it. Did you write the working hours when you registered with the Callgirl service? Try to launch the call event manually through the debug menu, I don’t remember exactly something like a trigger-prom.

Yes I set the time and tried triggering the event manually. Didn't work.
I'm not sure what's wrong.
I'll try another save with a different family.

Just curious if possible to add gender chances to pregnancy like the chance for a futanari?

 

I have KW handling all pregnancies since Nraas SP was a pain to make sure all triggers are set and lets me control it better since I turned off SP, BUT I also lose SP ability to always have first born set for gender I want. 

 

It's not a major thing as I can always convert later, but wasn't sure iof this was easy/hard to mess with and to add a toggle to it.

It may well be another issue. After my sim had been at university for 2 straight terms, and was about to start her third term without returning home, I realized that she had only registered for one term in the first place. Something else is likely causing issues with University.

 

I rolled my game back to a save prior to her going to University, and then realized that she hadn't waited for her high school graduation ceremony / diploma. Now it has been about a week and a half since she aged up, and she still hasn't had graduation.

 

My sim had moved to Isla Paradiso by traveling there and using Traveler to switch homeworlds, after traveling from one world to another, going through all the vacation worlds, plus a stay in Bridgeport, all without ever returning home. My theory is that something got corrupted along the way. I had her go on a vacation to Al Simhara, and then return home, hoping that might fix whatever issue it was, but I'm not super hopeful for that.

 

I'm unfamiliar with checking alarms. Is that done with Debug Enabler?

As I found out, the other mod was in conflict with KW and I had already deleted it. I downloaded it a long time ago and forgot about it. But at the moment the brothels are working as they should be
