Hernite Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Ok, so my video card fried on my laptop and I am using the other PoS laptop until I get my Vaio fixed in 2 to 4 weeks. LOL I tried to get oblivion to run in the absolute minimum settings but after the tutorial CTD and the graphics reminded me of the old days in Wolfenstein. LOL My questions are 1. Can I get Oblivion running? 2. Other games that will work? Morrowind and such... ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 11/25/2011, 09:27:07 Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Basic (6.0, Build 6002) Service Pack 2 (6002.vistasp2_gdr.110617-0336) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: Phoenix/SiS System Model: M720SR BIOS: BIOS Revision: 1.00.06 Processor: Intel® Pentium® Dual CPU T2370 @ 1.73GHz (2 CPUs), ~1.7GHz Memory: 892MB RAM Page File: 1585MB used, 457MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 11 DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 7.00.6002.18107 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found. gregathit Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 You may be able to get morrowind up but I don't think you meet the minimum spec's for oblivion with that machine.

Thanks, that is what I was thinking. Low end system from 2007. Wife loves it however, for Playing her puzzle and flash games it works great. LOL
gregathit Posted November 26, 2011 Posted November 26, 2011 Well, it never hurts to load things up and give it a try but I don't think you'll be able to do much. Wish I had better news
