Just Starting..

I got Skyrim like 4 months ago, but never played it because I was currently playing and modding Oblivion, and now I'm ready for Skyrim since I got the experience from modding Oblivion, but just as I started  the game I got a little problem... The game will only start as a small window it won't go full screen no matter what I do. 

 

I tried everything from what I found on the internet, like the skyrimprefs.ini

bFull Screen=1

changing the resolution, etc etc.

 

Does anybody has encountered this issue or knows anything about it and how to resolve it?? I'd appreciate it a lot!!

Have you try to run Skyrimlauncher.exe?

There is "Option" in the launcher to select your graphic preference ie. Resolution, Full screen/Window, Antialias etc.

Thank you!!! It worked!! But now is a little bit laggy, but that's fine I guess.

I had a similar problem the first time I played, but mine was due to hardware.

When I changed the resolution, the game lagged so bad, it was unplayable.

Since, I've upgraded and now I can enjoy the game the way it was meant to be.

There are a few graphic setting in the launcher.  You may try to lower a few of them to gain more FPS.
