my wicked whims script file cant be found

Any time I open sims and start a game, it always says that there is a fatal error and my wicked whims scripts folder cannot be located. dont know what went wrong cause i have the scripts mod enabled in sims and the folder of wicked whims is only in the sims 4 mods folder. i downloaded the newest version of the mod and this happened.  HELP PLS

You answered one question, the other is this.. Your WW folder, you say its 1 deep.. but it is like Mods / WW / WW? or just mods /ww.. with the 2 turbodriver files in the first one?

 

It should be like Mods / Wicked Whims, and the 2 turbodriver files in that folder.

Im pretty sure that its only in mods. I downloaded the new version of wickedwhims, extracted it and moved it straight to the mods folder but its still saying the same thing. That is the same thing I used to do when i downloaded wickedwhims without the update and it worked before

Ok. The only things I can think that would cause that is a) the script file is more than 1 deep, b) You don't have scripts enabled, or c) a conflicting mod or old version of the mod still in your mods.

 

Try this.. Take out all mods but WW, and an animation file, and try to see what happens.

I did it and the script file is still not there, the tuning file is there tho. I also enabled scripts mods in Sims 4 and it does not work

Ok what version is your game, and what version is your WW that you are using?

the WW version is v176d and my game version is 1.98.158.1020

Then I am at a loss sorry. The only other thing I can think of it could possibly be is you accidentally unpacked the script file. If you've done everything above, and its still not working, I am at a total loss.

 

Can you screen shot the folder the WW file is in by chance?

I need help with Wicked Whims script files not found in my Sims 4 Wicked Whims neither. And my Sims 4 game crashed also. I am unable to play with my computer game. I reinstalled it recently but it will not work at all. I don't know what to do with the game anymore. I haven't played my computer game for awhile because I was sick with very bad cough and cold, high fever for few days. But when I tried to play the game. I screwed it up with file I shouldn't downlaod and it stubburned will not work. Should I removed all the 4,211 files out of the way and restalled the game and deleted all the broken files? PLease help me someone help me please?

The files are too deep. This is one of troubleshooting steps on WW page 

 

Right now you have: Mods > Wicked Whims > WickedWhimsMod > script + tuning file

It should be: Mods > Wicked Whims > script + tuning file

 

You need to only move the WickedWhimsMod folder directly into your mods folder or it will never work.

Also you don't need the TEXT and MP4 files in mods folder. They are there to show how to install the mod, game doesn't use it. Remove it.

Wicked Whims didn't work, script files neither. I'm glad I removed it and deleted it already. I figured it out myself. I wasn't too surprised always the Wicked Whims never works right in the first place. Sometimes I never get anyone in here to helped me. At least your the only one that did figured it out. But it was too late because I was too sick and too exhausted to realized it's always the Wicked Whims files with that files always thats anyways for trying to help me. I thought I had to removed or deleted the whole 4,211 files in my mods document files. But not today only already removed and deleted the bad files already yesterday, today also.I don't remember how long it took me to download alot of files from here and other websites crazy. Thanks anyways for real your the only person that is nice to me.  Have a good day anyways. Still sick with the heavy cough and my voice sound very weird not like darth vader voice hahahaha, taking it easy and medicine, spoon of honey, little bit of lemon soda meaning sprite a bite. I hope I get better soon. Still sleepless night.

You unzip the file itself, the files are inside.

You put those in your Mods folder.
