Krynn Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 (edited) Hello I have a small problem... I always had Skyrim / Oldrim so far... now I do not get it with the HDT in the Special Edition. I have installed: ZaZ Fnis XP32 Maximum Skeleton Special Extended HDT-SMP for SSE 1.5.97 HDT-SMP (Skinned Mesh Physics) Race Menu SKSE64 and Address Library for SKSE plugins CBPC - Physics with Collisions for SSE So the breasts and butt "jiggle" ... only these chains do not work... the chain from Heretical Resources looks like this as an example... PS: Sorry, poor picture quality Could someone please help me or give me a hint what could be the reason? Spoiler Edited July 7, 2023 by Krynn
shrtjsrtj Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 Chains like that are all sorts of broken in SSE and no one has figured out how to make the work with the different physics system. Also it's hard to tell from the image if it's just SSE chains being SSE chains or if there's an actual problem with your config. I'd get Faster SMP instead of HDT-SMP since it's still getting updated. Also there's CBPC for more physics and collisions. Get those, install a body(CBBE, BHUNP, UBE or the like) and maybe some armor mods, and test with that.
t.ara Posted July 7, 2023 Posted July 7, 2023 (edited) It´s well known that SSE technically isn´t support HDT-PE-hacking. SMP can not do that job because it has only a handful of parameters which basically are supporting simple, hanging down stuff. The most complex part inside of SMP is, to reach a smooth gravitation-effect of bones, which work side-by-side. Such a chain needs to add a loop-bone system for a connection. This is a standard-miss inside of all the professional skeleton-bone-technology AND SMP all together. For this ONLY single use for this exact restraint-chains on wrists and ankles, the industry and the few mod-creators on LL or NEXUS, which do mods for sex-animations here around and think about more detailed body-genitals, this is sort of asset issimply no challange any longer. Not for professionals and not for the semiprofessionals interesting. Even if the technique would be available, who would nowadays create again such stuff?????? It´s lot of work for having one gamer use seldom such piece of asset during a gameplay....and a quest-mod-support would maybe come after some years. Your assets mostly are made for NOTHING. That´s the reality about this all. SO let me say: SSE will stay how it is now and there will come some few mods, based on NEMESIS and some very few about collision...That´s it. THe rest is bodyslide, conversions and skin and enbs and some texture-replacement. Edited July 7, 2023 by t.ara

Means that the chain looks like it is boned to it´s skeleton, ingame. The configuration is allright...the asset is working correct and fine working at the ankles. But which mod is offering this asset for SSE ??????? ZAP, I mentioned can not being used inside of SSE because of exactly this and some other reasons. SMP can be used for hanging chains without connections, only. Even that is not being made since years from no author. Not interesting anymore and maybe too complex for lot of creators. Other stuff is more wanted. FASTER SMP is maybe the normal SMP, which we know from SLE. I see that SMP inside of SSE is more limited. CBPC is crap which I would never use/install, I´m so sorry! And that CBPC isn´t solving that problem,:-))) So testing with the mentioned suggestions is obsolete inside of SSE. I have to sorry again! Solution only: Creating a new folder and installing the real SKYRIM-game is solving all this problems, definitivly.
Krynn Posted July 7, 2023 Author Posted July 7, 2023 Ok thanks, I didn't know that. I am surprised myself that so far everything had worked out during the installation... from therefore....
