Is it risky to uninstall then reinstall 3BA mid playthrough?

3ba is the mod where, when you install, you chose a lot of jiggle/bounce options for breasts, butt, thighs, and stomach right?? Because that's the menu I wanna change settings in. Any help is appreciated.

Strictly speaking, changing anything about a mod mid-playthrough could cause issues.

 

In my experience though, re-installing 3BA in order to swap the pre-packaged physics options hasn't caused any problems. Just don't forget to re-build your base body in Bodyslide (because that will get reset to default) and re-run FNIS.

Hmm ok. I might try the unin/reinstall. I changed my physics from cbpc to hdt I believe and it is better.. but kinda want something in between. Prob gonna stay with hdt, and later make a new character and change settings then. Appreciate the help.

For the best results, don't load your game (or at least don't overwrite your save) again until you've completed the re-install process.

 

Also, do you mean switching to SMP? If I understand correctly HDT is just the underlying physics extension that both SMP and CBPC utilize. HDT doesn't stand for anything, the author's username is "HydrogensaysHDT" (actually, based on the rest of his username, I think HDT stands for Hydrogen, Deuterium, Tritium - but that's beside the point because it's still unrelated).

I worded that really bad about switching to hdt.. I used the 'toggle player physics' hotkey from 3ba mcm, and it mightve said it switched to "SMP", not HDT.
