Animations not loading

So I've decided to try out skyrim sex modding, problem is I am new and don't know how to fix shit. I managed to monkey brain my way into my mods almost working- all of the content seems to be added but whenever a sex scene should start it just doesn't. I've tried to do a quest where you have to have sex to progress and it seems to just complete that part of the mission- when I talk to the person who I had to fuck they act like we just finished. I have some theories about why it doesn't work, when I load into the game I get a message that sexlab will only work with skyrim version 1.5 or higher but my steam automatically keeps the game up to date. Maybe I have to set my game to exactly version 1.5? But I don't know how to do that. Another error popup I get is one of the mods I use gets 'disabled' a few minutes into the game because it messes with vital children's code (?) That doesn't seem to really make a difference though as that mod still has content load in just fine?

 

So basically: how do I make the animations play properly, are they related to either of these errors and do I have to worry about these errors?
