Garret76 Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Quite sometime ago I ran my cs thru my obse icon an changed its path an forgot about it, for awhile now been running obse thru cs icon the rite way. my question is whats the path to change obse back , got an error an want to see what it is here is the path I changed it to thinking it was right "C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\obse_loader.exe"
gregathit Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Impossible to say for sure, as we don't know where you installed the game. Â It is NOT recommended to install Oblivion in the program files directory if you are running Vista, Win7 or Win8. Â To see where you currently have the shortcut pointing just right click on that shortcut, select properties and see what the target path is.
wilco444 Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 You mean typing -editor at the end of the path name? So you'd probably just want C:\Program Files (x86)\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion\obse_loader.exe"Â -editor pasted for target? Sorry if i'm confused on what you actually are asking for!
Garret76 Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 thanks all think I got it , one other question , would obse error report be in documents , haven't had error for awhile an just makin sure.
Sarnaath Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 The obse.log file is in your Oblivion folder, the same place as your obse_loader.exe file.
Garret76 Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 You misunderstood , Im wondering where the obse error report would be, I looked in my documents an there isn't one in there an I have it set to show all files. Â
gregathit Posted September 23, 2013 Posted September 23, 2013 Not in your my documents folder. Â Look instead in your game folder where the Oblivion.exe file is found.
Garret76 Posted September 23, 2013 Author Posted September 23, 2013 It was a texture fixed an error went bye bye.
