Game won't boot up!

i try to boot up the game & from the desktop shortcut it goes to the app. strange

then i press play & nothing. then i press Repair....wit. then press play & it says we our having an error on our end. try again ltr.

i had this issue once before. i repaired, restarted my pc & it fixed it.....this time its not working.

i reset, i logged out & in, i even tried to play offline & that wouldn't work either!

it booted up earlier, i got a new pack & it gave me a gift, then i turned mods on & all this happened.

is it a mod? i haven't added many lately, i could remove them & see if that helps i guess tho i see others having this issue too

so maybe its the servers or bad update?

I downloaded and reinstalled the EA app software..mine came back..good luck..

that didn't work BUT i tried the last thing i hadn't done....i removed the mod folder

& it worked! Ugh

this means the issue is in my GIANT 16.8 GB mod folder & now i gotta figure out the issue! ugh

luckily everything is in seperate folders.

may take while till i get to ur video Blo! lol

Got it!   Found the lil troublemaker!

i was looking for a barrel of fire & added the 1st one google showed me.

dunno why it hates that mod but the game will not boot up with it in.!

 

SO does anyone know where to get a working Barrel of Fire? is there one in a pack?

 

don't use that mod, its evil, just posted its carcass as a warning

OMG!  i find the bad mod that was stopping the game from launching.

Now i click resume & got an error u should relaunch error in-game! O_O

took out the mod folder & yep my nippleless sim loaded in! UGH!

Here we go again!

It's not "evil", it's just a Sims3 object, so this one is totally on you, not on the mod.

still having errors, looks like it the new WW or Perversion now.

gotta update them daily lately seems. hope there's a new new update. ugh

WW seems to be the issue.!  i removed all mods & just added that & yep. So i put an old version in

176b & had the same error! so EA must be trying to block it or something!

SOLVED = Don't ya hate it when u don't play a game for a few months & EA adds some BS & doesn't tell u about it?

 

Seems there's now TWO options in the 'others' options to turn mods back on & i missed the memo!

well don't i feel like the f'n asshole! O_o

Now every update i gotta turn on BOTH CC & script mods! UGH! what a joke ea!!!!!

Now it all works again! i went through hell trying to figure that out! maybe this post will help others....or give u a laugh at my peril! lol
