Sneaksmile Posted June 12, 2023 Posted June 12, 2023 (edited) Hello! Well ..a while ago I had to cure my female character's vampirism because the hideous vampire face wouldn't go away A cute face preset from Nexus and the textures fixed the problem in some way ..BUT 'she' still had that strange 'morphology' So ..by curing the character of vampirism (although I think it also had something to do with Race Menu) ..that ''physical'' problem was solved totally but ..when I returned to the castle ..I could enter but no one had real dialogues anymore and they only said that it was a shame that I was there being human, etc. No more interaction with anyone in the castle I learned to live with it. Since my character is level 80 and a save of 400 hours. So ..I wasn't planning at all on starting a new game. But ..now and with that in mind.. I'm curious if there is a mod out there that can make you, as a human, being able to interact with vampires 'normally'. I mean ..like the mod that can make you play as a vampire in the Dawnguard faction without problems Is there something like that?? ..or maybe console commands? Thanks. venomr Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 Ah I know the dawnguard mod you're talking about, but I'm not sure if there's an equivalent for humans. Though there are a few mods that try to address the vampire facial morphs thing. If you're using a custom race, you can easily fix it by going into SSEDIT and disabling the "overlay head parts" option for the vampire version of a race. I assume the mods that fix vampire morphs are doing this to all the vanilla races, or forcing skyrim to load a new head model in place of the vampire head model.
rjrc Posted June 14, 2023 Posted June 14, 2023 i dont know about that kind of mod but about that "ugly vampire face" you were talking, did you try Humanoid Vampires SE ? I'm using it with vampire eye unlocker and my character's face does not change when i become a vampire

Nope ..I do not use a custom race ..but the main thing is that ..although I can fix the ugly vampire face ..which is already fixed because I cured the character's vampirism ..no one wants to socialize with me anymore lol .. in the castle and that's the biggest problem ..also,..Harkon totally refuses to turn me back into a vampire again ..so I don't know if doing what you say there will be interaction again in the castle, jus for that? Sneaksmile Posted June 15, 2023 Author Posted June 15, 2023 (edited) So.. I think what you guys are suggesting is that I need to re-infect the character with vampirism and then I must use mods that make the vampires look like humans .. sounds like a nice idea ..Although I thought it would be easier. And another thing is that although my character no longer has vampirism ..the option to transform into Vampire Lord stayed there and when I converted the character and then return to human form .she acquires that horrible morphology again, so that's why I never converted her Edited June 15, 2023 by Sneaksmile
