A Night to Remember Black Out Fix

Does any such fix exist for Special Edition? I haven't experienced this bug in a long time yet it has manifested once again in the Good Old Games version of Anniversary Edition for some reason. All quest essential NPCs are alive and USSEP is installed and updated. The quest simply will not advance past the point where Sam say "Hey, you're not looking too good..."

There was a fix for Legendary Edition buy that was dependent upon USLEEP rather than USSEP.

I have never come across this error before ... but... you wake up in the temple of Dibella.

Could it be - that a mod that "changes" the temple - possibly intervenes?

in my current installation - with the "Sisterhood of Dibella" - I haven't tested the Vanilla-Sanguine-Quest yet.

but I still have the original SE version (with the current unofficial patch).

I have nothing affecting the Temple of Dibella cells or the faction. Something seems to be causing that script to fail where the other blackouts seem to work fine (for arrests and the like).

If there is no Special Edition version of the fix, I'll just have to continue to randomly deactivate mods then use console commands to go to inns after leaving the testing room until the culprit is found.

For future reference, the bug might be caused by mods which add dialogue options under certain conditions such as Milk Mod Economy, Skoombag or Skyrim on Skooma as they might display when there is meant to be no dialogue menu at all, throwing off the timing of the scene.

I will install JK's Temple of Dibella to see if the malfunction can be triggered by the changes made by that mod now just to confirm or deny it with evidence.

It was an interesting theory but wholly incorrect. It seems that LC_BecomeJarlofIverstead was causing the blackout script to fail for some reason, something that I learned through extensive trial and error. I'll check the Nexus page to see if there is a fix for this issue or if the mod should be saved for late in a paythrough, after every Daedric quest is done, at the very least.

I'm experiencing the same problem did you by any chance find a fix ? I cannot uninstall jarl of ivarstead now, it will corrupt save and I have dyndolod references....

Looked for conflicts in Xedit, but I really don't see what is the link between this mod and the quest.
I do have JK skyrim that conflicts, but I don't think it really matters here.
It adds factions though, and changes the encounter with the guy going to a wedding... Why the 2nd part? No idea
