Some pawns unable to have sex

For some reason 3 out of my 8 pawns are unable to trigger sex scenes with other pawns or animals. I can see no similarities between the 3 pawns that can't and was wondering if anyone else has had this issue? The options simply don't appear when I right click another pawn or animal with them selected. I do not have hero mode selected for any pawn.

Found the reason to be that pawns without a penis couldn't initiate. This is annoying now though because having a penis locks half of the animations to be the person im commanding to be on top seemingly without a way to fix.
