Random face change while playing

Hey guys!

 

I've got this weird issue for a few days now and I'm not able to discern to cause of it.

While playing the face of my character occasionally changes to that of an abomination. Sometimes it's fixable by opening the racemenu and sometimes I have to restart the game.

I have jet to find a trigger for this bug since it seems to happen randomly. Subjectively it seems to happen after changing zones most of the time. Although it also happened while just running around a fair share of times.

(If I remember correctly it has jet to happen while being indoors. No guarantee on that though.)

 

Every help to solve this is appreciated.

Going out on limb and say it might be DVA - Dynamic Vampire Appearance.  The mod does change the look of the vampire character based on current vamp dynamics (vamp stage, feeding, combat, etc).  You also don't give a lot of info:  For example, are you using one of the standard races for this character, or a mod race?  What body (although I see CBBE as part of a one of the mod names)?  What skeleton?  Any of these can be related to the cause.

Shouldn't be DVA since this bug started happening before I installed it (And that char is not a vampire). Body: CBBE, Race: YgNord (ECE), Skeleton: XPMS

It's an ECE issue from my understanding. I use ECE as well, and I get this bug from time to time. Either a quick load will fix it, or open showracemenu and it will reset your face. I don't use a custom race though, I just use the basic vanilla Nord race.

 

Not sure what causes it exactly, think it might have something to do with slot saves or presets maybe? All I know is that for some reason, it reverts to the default face randomly and the only way to fix it is reload or open the showracemenu and it resets your face back to what it was.

(off topic) Your load order is an abomination, if you are using BOSS that shit is lying!

 

Note 1: Spidy has a point. I suggest to reinstall ECE (back up your stuff first)

 

Note2: You should be using the Race Compatibility for USKP, the installer ECE have an option for that.
