Good to hear your still at it :). On your save issue, one of the things I noticed with the TES construction set is the need to make an esp before loading up the construction set and then setting the new esp I'm working on as the active file. Also, you might want consider trying to use the Construction Set Extender located here:

Using it might solve some of the headaches your having.

A few things that mean more to me than anyone else... any involved in ZMCPlayerSlave I'm sorry for adding on to it without consent, as you see in earlier post I was having saving issues. This was the only way to save my work than go back and edit, at the time.

 

After all I've learned in the past 2 1/2 days I think I could make a standalone version, though I'll still have scripting issues, noticed any scripts not already part of the active mod won't save to that character(s). I don't know much about scripting but after looking through them my understanding is they flow like an Excell IF function. Then there's going into conversations and AI to match up is still out of my grasp.
