Vuulgar Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 Through circumstances I have ended up with 2 pc and I have both connected to a switch to use the same mouse, keyboard and monitor. On my old pc I have Special Edition with a set up that is running pretty well so I dont want to screw with that at least not before the new PC is set up and working. What I am thinking is I can switch to the new pc, download Anniversary to run on the new one while keeping SE on the old PC and as long as I keep updates off I can run both (not at the same time). Will having 2 game versions on the same account on 2 pc work? Are there complications I am not seeing? Thanks in advance.
traison Posted May 4, 2023 Posted May 4, 2023 I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work, but like you said, one at a time. I've sort of done this with Fallout 4 in the past. I set up a virtual machine, installed the game and the now defunct bethesda launcher to "steal" the Creation Kit. Didn't want that bloatware on my main system so... Anyhow back then I already had Fallout 4 locked to some outdated version, so whatever was downloaded into the VM was most likely not the same version.

I am going to try it out soon as I get some free time.
