Nepro Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 (edited) Excellent, excellent. bravo and congratulations, now I don't have to continuously update my DMRA Player Only Stock. What skeleton did you put inside the package? What load order do you recommend? For example Mysterious Bear Necromancy mod adds script to the vanilla Necromancer Robe. If you wear a Necromancer Robe other Necros won't attack you. The script adds player to the Necromancer faction for the time of wearing the robe. Did you put glossy meshes or regular ones? gregathit Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Nepro, Looks like Growlf's Universal skeleton, but could be the rag-doll version of it. Minor rant: I wish folks would stop packaging skeletons with plugins, or if they must, alert folks that they are doing so, as it can cause a massive headache to the end user when things stop functioning correctly and he has to hunt down why.
Ark of Truth Posted September 11, 2013 Author Posted September 11, 2013 Excellent, excellent. bravo and congratulations, now I don't have to continuously update my DMRA Player Only Stock. Your welcome What skeleton did you put inside the package? Didn't even know there was one in there, I just checked and it is in Nephenee13's mod so whatever one he placed in there. Like Greg said most likely Growlf's or the rag-doll version which me and Mailamea use. What load order do you recommend? For example Mysterious Bear Necromancy mod adds script to the vanilla Necromancer Robe. If you wear a Necromancer Robe other Necros won't attack you. The script adds player to the Necromancer faction for the time of wearing the robe. If you place it below that mod you should be fine, if not link me the mod and I will try and create a patch. Did you put glossy meshes or regular ones? Whatever Nephenee13 was using is the ones I used. Minor rant: I wish folks would stop packaging skeletons with plugins, or if they must, alert folks that they are doing so, as it can cause a massive headache to the end user when things stop functioning correctly and he has to hunt down why. True, but normally with Growlf's you are pretty safe.
Nepro Posted September 11, 2013 Posted September 11, 2013 Did you put glossy meshes or regular ones? Neph released two versions non-glossy (regular) and glossy one. From the files I replaced it seemed the mod package included the non-glossy meshes. If you place it below that mod you should be fine, if not link me the mod and I will try and create a patch. I will test it out and let you know. Link to the mod is here: Mysterious Bear Necromancy http://oblivion.nexusmods.com/mods/40964//?

True, but normally with Growlf's you are pretty safe. Only if the end user is aware so they can choose to install it or not. While the end user "should" be checking the file and folder structure "prior" to installing, we both know most don't. Additionally this will break the new version of LPK that I am getting close to releasing as it relies on a modified version of Growlf's skelly. At the very least it would be nice to put it in bold that a skelly is included just so to cover your tail. Your call. Either way, nice release. There is some great stuff in here!
Ark of Truth Posted September 12, 2013 Author Posted September 12, 2013 Well now I know it is there I'll take it out. To be honest I think Neph put it in there for convience more then anything.
heroine Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Doesn't seem to be working for me. Do we install it with or without the original replacer?
Nepro Posted September 15, 2013 Posted September 15, 2013 Me too, I get missing meshes because half of the player body disappears though not all meshes, prison irons & some lowerclass shoes so far from what I noticed. I have the esp very last in my load order and meshes placed correctly I quadruple checked it.
heroine Posted September 17, 2013 Posted September 17, 2013 I added the mod on a clean install, and it has the same effect. None of the clothing changes to it's DMRA partner.
Ark of Truth Posted September 17, 2013 Author Posted September 17, 2013 Did no one read the OP? It's not finished and not all of the armor are converted yet.
heroine Posted September 18, 2013 Posted September 18, 2013 Did no one read the OP? It's not finished and not all of the armor are converted yet. Sorry, it's just that you didn't really elaborate on how much was undone.
