Lovers without MBP?

This has probably been asked before, but it's been forever since I've played Oblivion and decided to start it back up again.

 

But what I want to know is, can I use Lovers without MBP and all that stuff? Not too fond of the whole anime look it gives to everything, plus I already found plenty of other cosmetic mods that I like better.

 

I just plan on using the basics of Lovers, like Adult Play Plus, RaperS, and Creatures. Nothing too extreme or anything.

 

Do I still have to use MBP in order to use those? Or am I stuck with using MBP?

The base framework plugins for LPK clearly list their requirements in each OP.  No, MBP is not one of them.

 

If MBP "is" required, then it will state so in the mod's requirements section.  Some plugins also have alternate no-MBP alternate esp files.

 

Bottom line, there is no substitute for reading the OP of the plugin.

Yeah sorry bout that. I was just going off this guide for Lovers:

And it is telling me to install MBP. So I wasn't sure if it needed it or not. Thanks for the heads up though.

No problem.  That guide was written with the assumption that you would be installing many of the major mods that do require MBP and is geared towards "getting it out of the way".

 

When I release the new AP framework plugin I will make a new guide and hopefully clear up any misunderstandings.
