Guest Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 So I finally got PlayerSlave to actually play... but once I get to the destination nothing happens. A quick look through the trouble shooting told me that if I have no faces and no action on the female characters there to re-download MBP2nd++ (I have MBP2nd)for the Tolkien Elves... Which I still can't find a usable copy of. Unless there's another program that'll open the file... 7zip and Winrar will not open them. Despite every link I find saying 7zip will open it.
Rogue13 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Hi Natanuslkens, You've got a couple things going on here. If you've loaded MBP plus plus 1.4 and still are missing faces I suspect you may be missing some files. There is a install guide here on LoversLab that will walk you through the install of MBP at http://www.loverslab.com/showthread.php?tid=1602 (the links include a useable copy of MBP (that includes Tolkien elves)). PlayerSlave currently ends with a training loop once your character reaches Chorral. If you're not getting the training sequence, please let us know where you currently end.
Guest Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 I end at the house (auction?) where the two headless female npcs are, one is one of the two slavers the other I guess is the trainer. pretty much it looks like they talk (no dialogue/text) then nothing happens and the toon is just stuck there. Walking out side of a small radius sends me right back to the male slaver.
Guest Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Ok, 1.8.0 was one of the ones I was missing for face meshes for some of the original toons. However, I still see no reference to a program I can use to open MBP++ (read first post). Also after thinking about it... is Cover Yourself a requirement? Seem to remember once I got the game to stop CTD after being knocked out that NPCs just went about their business.
Guest Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Thank you BTW I was missing the Hair.esp file... after learning that I had to "Merge" the files together I have that file. Do a quick Character creation to see if my missing heads problem is finally fixed. Hmm... well... still have no head on Moonshadow Elves... and Dark Elves still show up as a white women with a Blue/black head... No idea why. LoL grrrrrrrr... not that these are used for any NPCs I've seen. Still looking for a way (or different link) to open the MBP++ files (2 parts).
Rogue13 Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 Hi NatanusLikens, No, Cover Yourself is not required. In fact, I beleive that Cover Yourself is effectively disabled while the PC is enslaved under PlayerSlave because the PC cannot respond (she is silenced) when challenged by the guards. I think Cover Yourself must have a check to see if the PC can speak ( or it doesn't consider the PC nude on the long march) because I seem to recall that the guards didn't challenge my character when Lamaud dragged her nude through cities. You are getting very close to where the current version of the mods ends. One of the female NPCs ( I believe she is a Bloodwitch (needs MBP)) should now say a little dialogue to Lamaud following which, the PC is transferred to her and then the PC is taken to the basement of the house you're in for some 'training'. For now, this is just a short loop that repeats. Not being able to walk outside a small radius of Lamaud is a feature of this mod as the PC is magically 'leashed' to him as long as he owns her.
Guest Posted November 22, 2011 Posted November 22, 2011 ??? Bloodwitch??? I hope that's not a PC playable race... cause I did not see that in my character creation list... ugh... I know skyrim just came out and I'm a modder fail... but I hope my ideas I can come up with would be useful... I may just give up on this one like I did with DemonHive/Monster Girl... CTD before game ever loaded with those mods... something about one of the required mods was making it crash... forgot which one.
