Veladarius Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 I think this may be an issue with my PC and not Skyrim. Earlier today my PC would not wake from sleep so I had to reset it. Since then my desktop has been defaulting to a lower resolution and Skyrim will only use 15% of the CPU where it was using 45% and my framerates have been cut in half. I have run a scan with my antivirus and found nothing. I am going to try updating my video drivers once AMD's site is working properly. If anyone has any other ideas what to look for I would appreciate it. System Specs: i5 2500k @ 3.7ghz AMD 7850 w/ 2gb ram 16gb system ram Windows 7 Premium - 64 bit Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. The Sapphire overclocking utility decided to drop the clock speed from 920 to 400.
Ark of Truth Posted September 9, 2013 Posted September 9, 2013 It's your PC. Check in Event Viewer for problems. Sounds like your grwphics driver is beginning to break.
