Is there an easy way to change destruction spell colors?

I would like to make the fireball purple. Or yellow.

I think I'd take an existing mod that changes the color of fire magic and then use an art program to make the texure color into what youd prefer.

I use this mod to turn dds files into png files. Png files can be opened in most art programs for editing.

and after making changes, I save the file as a png and then use the XMH tools to turn my new png file into a dds file that skyrim can read.
