I'm starting a new play-through, little different from previous ones. Only this time after my PC has sex (Sexlab), or even after getting off the horse, she starts heading off upwards at a rate of knots. After a few minutes, in-flight catering takes over and she's having Nord Mead at 35,000 feet.

I'm only at Helgen on Alternate Start.  Before I restart my game, does any old Skyrim salt know what generally causes this behaviour? I use Nemesis (through MO2) and have around 11,000 animations max. I do use DAR as well but try to keep that fairly limited. I've FPS capped at 60, run 144MHz refresh on Gsync. (Nvidia Card).   Might this be from a bugged save?

Using NP3 Free Camera almost guarantees flight departure when control is returned to the player at scene end.

If anyone can take a draw on his long pipe in the corner of a tavern and wisely say: "What you have, son, is a bad case of Rockjoint..." I'd appreciate the input of ideas.

Thanks!

So basically you have the opposite of the flying horse glitch? Did we ever figure out what causes horses to fly? Could it be related?

Edit: Personally I always figured it was a combination of me getting on the horse and the horse getting a package from a mod, say a follow player package. Now you basically have an object attached at an offset from the object trying to get to it. Like a donkey with a carrot hanging in front of it, if that makes sense. Then again I don't quite see how that would apply to the player, ie. in reverse. Could it be something simple like a slavery mod enabling AI control on the player then causing a similar situation?

Hi @Traison!

Thank you for your swift innput. I don't have any slavery mods, but I have some idles. I'm not sure if AI packages might be the issue here, it seems to be freecam issues.

I went through my MCMs and made sure only one mod had a hotkey for Freecam (Sexlab) and others were not set to auto-freecam.

After some testing it seems to be working OK.  But I won't know for a while so I'll do some more testing.  If she does an Elon Musk Starship 1 after getting off a horse, I'll know it's not cured.

Hm, I've seen this somewhere before. Someone having trouble getting freecam working perhaps? Anyhow, if freecam is a reliable way to to get it to happen I would be all over any camera mod, Improved Camera, Enchanced Camera, IFPV, ... what else is there?

Well maybe not IFPV, it's a bit too simple for this right? Just an ini edit?

Edit: Skeleton? ?

Got a mod that adds player movement inertia? Or one of those fancy combat mods with dodge moves and smooth turning and what have you? Those would be on my suspects -list.

Edit: Disable DAR? Just in case...

skeleton, not latest with missing bone fixed, framerate not matching physics, script lag, AI switched off (a mod switches off but not back on, player controls).

AI off, physics will not be calculated.

Do you mean with collision toggled off? Fortunately not. Interesting thought, though, thank you.

Improved Camera isn't ready for 1.6.640 yet, should be along the next couple of weeks with any luck!  Framerate/physics would be an early port of call, but I have that covered. Skellies are all up to date, too.

I have several mods that affect camera - freecam and 1st/3rd person settings - and I think there was a punch-up going on between a couple of them. Since I tidied up freecam settings I have tested this a lot, and everything is back to normal.

Thank you all!
