Nostalgic Anime

Just had a nostalgia attack I needed to share...

 

I'm by no means "otaku" and I'm not very cult in matters of anime. I have just an average taste for Japanese entertainment, I just happen to like certain stuff and it happens to be anime.

 

So in this nostalgic attack I remembered some series from long ago and wanted to ask If anybody ever saw them too

Some were really obscure I think, some were more popular. 

Constructive opinion and sharing good time experience is welcome, haters please stay away.

 

From the popular ones I remember watching probably the ones everybody know like:

 

Dragon Ball Saga:

 

Saint Seiya, or Athena No Seinto

 

Evangelion of course (That was really fucked up)

 

Other stuff like

 

Rurouni Kenshin

 

Elfen Lied (more fucked up really sad stuff)

 

Maybe somebody heard of Digimon

 

But among the most obscure ones. Here's some of my favorite ones, I wonder if anybody ever saw them...

Orphen is probably my most nostalgic one, I even noticed I made my character in Oblivion and Skyrim inspired by features of Cleo, the female lead in this one:

Can't help to ask myself what the hell happened to anime...

Now I have an idea that there are a few good ones like Fairy Tail, One Piece, Naruto... these are popular but something's different

There are very few good ones

The rest is all stupid stuff about parodies, tentacles, "onii-chan" (incest)...

And not so much goodness as before

What happened to anime?...

 

I really wish there were more good series as before...
