beazalbob69 Posted September 4, 2013 Posted September 4, 2013 OK, so I made a new texture set for the HD smile mod that added Braces to the teeth model. It worked ok but not very realistic. So I decided to make a new mesh in blender and this is what I ended up with. I made the morph tri and the chargen tri following the realistic teeth tri's. I duplicated the base mesh and scaled it down parented it to the skeleton from the realistic teeth nif and exported it as a nif file. Went through all the stuff to make the nif compatible with Skyrim. Made the Textures and normal map with GIMP. I have done other custom meshes before and they always worked out ok. This is what I ended up with. Now here is where the problems begin and where I need help. I was able to add them via the CK to a custom race that I created just for this project. I also modified the realistic teeth mod so it would work with my custom race. They show up in game. Wireframe view. They morph but when they morph the mesh goes all over the place! Problems that I have noticed. 1. If I export the mesh in Blender as a nif using nifscripts the vertex count and order gets all messed up compared to the .tri files but the UV map works and the nif works in game except for the morph problems. 2. If I export the mesh as an .OBJ file it keeps the vertex count and order from the .tri files but it loses the UV map so it does not show up in game. 3. If I export the mesh as a .3ds file vertex count and order stay correct but UV is messed up as well. I would like to know how to get the .nif to have the same vertex order as the 2 .tri files and figure out how to get the mesh to morph correctly in game. Looking at the Realistic Teeth mods .nif and .tri files shows that the vertex order is the same from one to the other so it has to be possible. I am at a dead end, any help would be great.
