not booted up sims in almost a year

felt like playing ww for giggles all to find out 90% of my dlc is now gone and EA says i have to repurchase 20+ packs I KNOW I HAVE.

i bought get to work, vampires, almost all the packs AGES AGO and now suddenly EA has a new launcher and it seems to think i no longer have them but i have a lot of sims files that say i clearly used those packs to make those worlds

what has happened exactly? is there anyway for me to get my content back or are EA just gonna try to leech me out of my money??

It is a known issue, you can read more about it here: Solved: [Resolved] - Sims 4 Requires EA Play - April 13th, 2023 - Answer HQ

tried the method to boot it up via the .exe rather than the ea app launcher buuut all it does is open up the app launcher even if i run it as admin

don't suppose anyone has a way around that, do they?

i hope they thoroughly fix the issue soon because this is really ridiculous; spent way over £40 on so many packs and i;m not gonna spend the same amount if not double now some are more expensive
