Hey all, 

 

This is a rerelease of my Muscle Worship mod, one of the first mods I've ever made. 

 

The mod features two traits, obtainable via phone interaction (or via the Muscle Growth Aspiration) Aspiring Bodybuilder and Muscle Worshipper. Aspiring Bodybuilders wanna get big as possible and show of their muscles, while Muscle Worshippers just want to see and touch muscles and encourage as much growth as they can! Once they get big enough, Body Builders show of their muscles with custom animated interactions! The mod also comes with a custom lot trait called "Hard Core Gym" where the gym goers are much bigger than at a normal gym. 

 

While not required, Roburky's Fitness Controls is highly recommended for this mod, specifically with the Muscle Limit setting of 2.5, and Change Multiplier Setting of .4. Non-Bodybuilders are design to taper off at what would be 100 fitness without the extended fitness settings, meaning that with both mods only Aspiring Bodybuilders can grow passed the unmodded limit. 

 

Previously this mod featured a bodybuilding competition, which I'm in the process of rebuilding from the ground up. I'm also planning on adding a Fitness Model Gig/work from home based custome career, as well as more animations- including actual worship animations between worshippers and Bodybuilders.

 

All flexing animations are also available as Wicked Whims Strip Club Dances.

I somehow don't seem to be able to find the interaction to obtain the traits. However, all my sims with the active trait automatically get the Aspiring Bodybuilder trait.

I wonder if big muscle will get female attention interaction?

Like female is checking out muscular body interaction, get aroused (flirty moodlet), daydreaming about muscular body, asking to hold the muscle?

The phone interaction that allows Sims to obtain the traits do not appear, nor are they possible to add by shift-clicking the Sim

One of the last items on the muscle gainer aspiration is "have your own fitness brand."  How does one do that?

 

Also, it seems like the mod may be resetting exhibitionist skill to 0 repeatedly for some of my sims.  Sims that have had skill at 5 suddenly say "<x> has acquired the exhibitionist skill."

Love the idea! Great work!

Do you plan on making something like a size-theft mod. It might sound strange, but it's a niche fetish. Like guys having sex or another interaction and the smaller/skinnier sim stealing the larger/buff sim's physique. Practically, I would think it could work by raising the smaller's physique stats (fat and fit) to match the bigger's, and vice versa.

 

Would love to see this!

Hi, I love your mods and this is my favorite, but I can't find the muscle worshiper trait at CAS or on the phone. I enjoy it but also wonder if you are going to implement in the future some way to pose indefinitely alternating poses, and also that other sims can admire you and react while you pose, and a posing skill?.

This version of the mod is outdated and doesn't work properly. The more up-to-date version is in the creator´s patreon. I hope the creator releases it here again as i like the premise of the mod.

I don’t know if it’s intentional or not, but when I have the newest version installed, every single sim will have the “highly motivated” gym motivation buff. This happens regardless of if they’re active or even like fitness. They all have it all the time. They’re all energetic all the time, it blocks out all other emotions. Is it possible to get either a fix or a toggle switch for this (if it’s intentional)?

I'm having the same issue as well. Sims are also gaining mass amounts of muscle without having the trait to do so as well.

Me too. I don't want every single Sim to be a bodybuilder/muscle gainer. I constantly have to go in and remove the trait. It's annoying.

Apparently, this mod assigns a hidden non-muscle-gainer trait to all sims that are not muscle gainers. For some reason, this trait activates muscle gainers' gym motivation moodlets on all affected sims. After removing the ChrisPyre_MuscleWorship_NonMuscleGainer trait using the traits.remove_trait cheat, the muscle gainer buffs temporarily disappear, but then the trait and buffs are added back again automatically. This renders the mod unplayable, which is a shame because the concept works wonderfully on muscle gainers.

I don't think this mod is behaving correctly. I have a female sim who encouraged a male sim for muscle growth and then she ended up with insecurities about her muscle mass. She's not an athletic sim but has been highly energized just because she autonomously did pushups. I also have the Musk Mod in and I noticed that scenarios where that should have kicked in it didn't.

I'm having a problem with this mod, as it's causing any cooking-related interaction to not work. I've tried removing all mods and only installing what's necessary for this one, and when I add this, it breaks. I can't cook, cook together, have a quick snack, it just doesn't add anything to the queue. The only way I can eat with this mod installed is by ordering takeout for every meal or hiring a caterer to come cook for me. It's very irritating.

Unfortunately Chrises mods are often broken as he doesn’t update them regularly. I’ve stopped supporting him on patreon because of that, I’ve decided I’m not paying monthly for nothing and with that being said I don’t expect fresh content all the time but at least some patches, which makes those mods function with the new updates. I generally love the ideas of his but I also wish they were executed by someone who actually cares.

I don't want to agree with you, but unfortunately I do. if there was a way to tune the scripts that would be helpful. I'm getting tired of going into MCCC and having to remove traits every couple of minutes. There's no consistency.
