As the name implies, this is a thread for things related to gavides in the sims, both in the base game and as mods.

I'd like to start by asking if anyone knows if the sim's gender settings affect the chances of male pregnancies resulting from the abduction.

Like, if I create a Femboy (with all the settings programmed for him to be a man, but with a female body shape) would he be able to get pregnant by abduction?

If I put that he can get pregnant, does that increase the chances of having an alien baby?

The % for pregnancy after abduction is 25%. The only 2 things the game takes into account are if the sim is already pregnant (0% chance) and if the sim has gender female (0% chance) or is a ghost (0%).

That means that your sim must have the trait "male" to get pregnant, and not be already pregnant by other means. Any other setting does not matter and has absolutely no effect whatsoever for pregnancy chance after alien abduction.

The game also blacklists sims with the trait "custom gender", now i am not sure 100% if that will completely block pregnancy but it seems that sims get that trait as soon as you change something in the "custom gender settings", so that might prevent a male sim with female frame to get alien pregnancy (unless you use a mod to change this). Giving the "can get pregnant" trait does not modify this.

Well that sucks but thanks so much for the reply.
I wanted to create a natural alien sim, born to a femmboy who was impregnated by aliens.
Maybe with a little plot of the alien son trying to go to Sixam in hopes of finding his mother, as now the Pollination Technician in the sims 4 is a woman.
Will I be able to create a normal male sim and change his body shape after he gets pregnant??

Yes you can do that, as long as you have "testingcheats true" and "cas.fulleditmode" activated you can edit whatever you want after.
