Verina Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 xEdit.exe is required to properly install the SkyFem mod, but the menu choices that popup do not match what the installation instructions call for, which makes installing this mod impossible. This could be due to my unfamiliarity with xEdit.exe since this is not the first mod I wanted to install that required the use of xEdit.exe, and since I had no successes with those installation attempts I've avoided mods that require its use. I've tried reading various 'manuals' I've found online about xEdit.exe, but those were both confusing and out of date referring to earlier versions of xEdit.exe. I'm posting this in the very remote possibility someone would be willing and patient enough to help me understand how to use the CURRENT version of xEdit.exe.
Varithina Posted March 15, 2023 Posted March 15, 2023 Which mod manager are you using, if it is mo2 then you have to run xedit as and executable through mo2, rather than stand alone. Also the scripts for skyfem can not be installed through most mod managers as they are not in the correct location when installed either. Other than that just what is the problem?
