Help with FG Bodyslide

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I installed the Vault-Tec Suit and tried ingame in Looksmenu if the ingame body slider works. Unfortunately this is not the case.
I also created Fusion Girl Bodislides and the ingame morphs don't work for any of the parts.

Could som eone please look at the mod and my bodyslides and fix them so that the ingame morphs work?

I don't have the mod to try it in game, but I installed your bodyslide file (assuming you mean the project for "Vault-Tec Suit - Torsosuit - FG" with an output to "meshes\BSsuit\BS_Torsosuit.nif").

At a glance in Outfit Studio and BodySlide it looks like the sliders are okay and that the bones are okay.

The symptom you describe usually has one of two explanations:

a) you need to make sure to check the "BuildMorphs" box in BodySlide, and

b) are you very, very, very (very) sure the output mesh matches what the plugin expects?

I suggest you carefully proof read the output mesh destination and name.

If you have even a tiny typo, you might be seeing the default CBBE mesh instead of your project's mesh.

I am 100% sure that this is the case.

yes because i created the FG bodyslide from the original mesh and not from an existing cbbe bodyslide. And I also checked the path in Outfitstudio. And ingame the armor mesh also matches my body preset.

So the pfard "meshes\BSsuit\BS_Torsosuit.nif" is crorrect.

In addition, the same problem is also the case with the standard mesh of the mod author. there, the ingame morphs do not work either.

The strange thing is that the looksmenu body morphs work for other armors and also the body, only Vault-Tec Suit bitches around.

As I said, I don't have the mod so can't even look in the plugin to see if it does anything unusual, but you imght want to use FO4Edit to look at the Armor Addon records and see if the mod is also forcing bone morphs in game.

If the Armor Addon record has bone data, try deleting that whole category from the record(s).

This particular mod is fairly glitchy.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.  It feels like the FG variant sometimes doesn't properly override the base one.  I recommend uninstalling both mods completely, then putting them back one at a time with the 'base' variant first, followed by the VG version.

I have re-downloaded and reinstalled Vault-Tec Suit. After the installation I checked the ingame looksmenu morphs with the original meshs without any bodyslide and also there the ingame morph does not work. well that ligt warscheunich at the fehlendne .ti files.
Then I opened all FG bodyslides in OutfitStudio and checked the save paths and file names, all correct. Then I deleted all the sliders and added them again via the ref body. And again nothing.

I even deleted the mesh of the mod to see if they are generated via bodyslide.

unfortunately, no bone record can be seen there.
