PHONE BACKGROUNDS [OVERRIDES & ADDON]

Erotic phone backgrounds.

Two versions of the mod are available - OVERRIDE and ADDON.
- OVERRIDE version - replaces 18 default phone backgrounds (except the first one).

- ADDON version - adds new backgrounds instead of overwriting default ones.

 

Compatible with game version 1.118.242.1030.

 

Only one version of ADDON and one version of OVERRIDE can be installed.
To install all at once there is a MERGED ADDON package file.

 

 

To make your phone look even cooler, I suggest to install:

- DEFAULT PHONE ICONS REPLACEMENT (CURRENTLY ONLY FOR PATRONS)
replaces app icons on the in-game phone screen

- Improved Phone Backgrounds Grid (CURRENTLY ONLY FOR PATRONS)
changes the phone's background selection grid, expanding it to 10 elements per row, reducing the spaces, and slightly increasing the thumbnail sizes.

- Transparent Phone Backgrounds (CURRENTLY ONLY FOR PATRONS)
replaces the phone backgrounds with transparent ones

- Phone App Free Homescreen by LittleMsSam

removes the App Icons from the first Homescreen on Phones

Installation:
- Move the ONLY ONE OVERRIDE and/or ONLY ONE ADDON .package file to your Mods folder.
For OVERRIDE version make sure you don't have any other Phone Background overrides mods.

How to use:
- Click on the palette icon at the top of in-game Phone UI. Choose one of the backgrounds.

IMPORTANT:
- Before deleting ADDON package or replacing it, you need to set the default background (1-19) in your game session, if you don't do this and save the game, then at the next load with new or without ADDON package all backgrounds may break and stop being displayed.

Any thoughts about doing a male version? Currently have your backgrounds and damned wrench's. Can only use one in game and would like the option of choosing . Thanks for the great backgrounds!

Currently, you can only install one replacement pack.

I've been working for a while on finding a method to add additional backgrounds to the phone without replacing them. A few years ago there were similar mods, but EA changed something and now it doesn't work.

Is there any way to fix the broken background because of deleting the files? I was unable to change to the default bg because the list was too long and I wasn't able to see the base bg icons. I was using the merged Addon pack.

To "restore" broken backgrounds you need to install the mod back and choose one of the standard backgrounds (1-18).

To be able to view the full list on small screens, try to reduce the UI Scale slider in the game settings

Only asking as you state you have no desire to do Male versions. I respect your choice, but if your willing to share your method, then I would give it a shot to create more alternative version.

It's strange, this bug was fixed in the last update.

@NISANE Heads up, the mod is broken. I've checked with just this mod in my mods folder. Facing the same issue as wyr1886, some of the in-game UI icons are broken.

After the 1 July update my UI in live mode broke and after spenging 2 hours on the 50/50 method (6.5 K files) I identified that it was this mod that caused the problem. Just letting you know so that you could check it if you want. And maybe others can fix their game quickly thanks to my comment here. I had that same issue that others were describing, plus a red stripe in the bottom of the screen and messed up buttons in the bottom-right corner where we have "Career", "Needs", "Skills" and so on.

Ok, it was entirely my own fault, I did not notice there was an update a couple of days ago. Thanks, it works now!

I updated only the game(not the mod) without reverting to the default phone background and now it works, but many of the game's icons are broken. I downloaded the latest version of the mod(from here) and the issue persists. I even deleted the mod and it's still there. However, if I disable all custom content(from the settings), the icons return to normal.

 

What can I do to restore the icons while still using the mod?

Hey. You probably have some other outdated CCs that are breaking UI

@NISANE Hi, I did a 50/50 method after the 18 September update and it looks like it has a serious UI issue again. Sorry for bothering you with this, hope it can be fixed relatively easily, please don't give it up, I absolutely love this mod. Cheers!
