Can't load my saves anymore after minor edits

I was editing some clothing mods through SSEEdit and OutfitStudio and I could load my save. Then I edited a texture in a mod called Hoop Earrings and after that my game crashed, so I reinstalled it, but I still can't load my saves, even those where my character doesn't have the earrings in her inventory. The only saves I can load are the ones in Abandoned Prison, the LAL start location. I also made some edits to armor in my Requiem for the indifferent, so that could be the culprit, but restoring earlier backups didn't help. I really can't figure out what's wrong or how what to. It doesn't make any sense. Any ideas?

 

When I think about it, no setup has been as sensitive as the current version of Skyrim. There seems to be something off with it.

You might not have had the earrings in your inventory, but maybe their formID had been propagated to some leveled lists in your others saves? Anyway backup your saves, then used Fallrim Tools to give them a quick clean. It might just work.

Didn't work. It seems you need to backup any item or mod you're about to edit in case something goes wrong. My Skyrim was never this sensitive before.

Already restarted since I was only level 2 but good to have around for next catastrophe. ?
