(SOLVED) After uninstall/reinstall to fix a seperate issue AAF scenes do not start

Played a male character on a new game (after FO4 uninstall/reinstall to fix a seprate issue but now AAF scens dont start from rescued Commonwealth captives dialogue menu.

Worse ,when I try the SEU hot key as a work around,  instead game  responds with "SEU cant start during AAF scenes", so the game seems to think the AAF scene is going on.

No changes from my previous install which had AAF working fine in  various flavors.

Here is the thread with my previous issue wich seemd to have led to this one.

I have had a similar experience.

(In my case, my machine died, and after replacing my c: drive AAF freezes when it's supposed to play an animation. My steam library and fallout 4 installation and so on were all on a different drive. So now I am trying to go through every installation step because whatever issue this is is not something that I can find documentation on...)

I Managed to solve it by disabling the latest version of AAF that I was Running via Vortex and enabling an older version off AAF I still had on Vortex (that I had left on disabled)

So all is well that ends well.

As for your issue probably same as mine the order got somehow messed up.

I would try disabling and enabling differnet components of AAF as a trial and erro and deploying after every time until you find a "sweet spot" where it works.

Have the same problem, aaf not doing anything when a scene is supposed to start. Another topic, same problem said to revert from Mutated Lust v1.4 back to ML v1.3, made no difference for me. Tried this, mentioned here and went from aaf v166 back to aaf v160. Again, my pc is just hanging out there with raised arms while the antagonists (feral ghouls) stand or crouch not doing anything.

Anyone have any ideas about what I could try next?
