Zenasa Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Alright I have a lot of mods installed, and I have run BOSS, but there were 6 or 7 mods that BOSS didn't sort for me, including SexLab and SexLab Plugins.. Caranthir Tower, a Climates of Tamriel patch, and so on. I was wondering if anyone could look at this load order and tell me what I'm doing wrong, or if any of these mods are incompatible? I'm trying to learn how to set this up properly. =/ All the =1s are cuz I copied it over from NMM. MikeMetal Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 I could tell you like 4 reasons why you CTDs judging your mods but first thing firsts you need to post where you get CTDs, what were you doing, your PC specs, papyrus log etc. as you have many mods and without information we can't do more than guessing your problem.

Been dying a lot while trying to fight a large group of goblins from the immersive creatures mod, which are all buffed out by ASIS. I'd like to note this is a brand new game, I'm near the Mages Guild on the way to Sarthaal. I'm running an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T AMD Radeon HD 6870 8GB DDR3 ram 1TB HDD am I missing anything? Papyrus log, I don't really know how to obtain that or what it is. =/ Once again, thanks a lot for responding. MikeMetal Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Papyrus log is made by the Papyrus (game's scripting language) that points out general scripts errors which could be the culprits of your ctds. To make the game write the logs you need to go in Skyrim.ini (MyDocuments\My Games\Skyrim) and paste those under [Papyrus] : bEnableLogging=1bEnableTrace=1bLoadDebugInformation=1 If you don't have [Papyrus] just create one manually. Then all you need to do is play the game and the log creates itself which will be available in "MyDocuments\My Games\Skyrim\Logs\Script". There will be 4 logs if you run the game at least 4 times with Papyrus.0.log being the most recent and that's what you need to post here.

I just really don't know where to start. your PC is ok, I have exactly the same and everything works perfectly! your problem may be triggered by factors of thousands! for example: "false skeleton for your body, not compatible textures, incorrect uninstalled mod mods that are not compatible with each other." there is a lot more that I could list, but this is beyond the frame. my guess is one of your last mods you have installed, the trigger, remove this mod and test! german \ deutsch ! dein PC ist in ordnung , ich habe genau den gleichen und alles funktioniert perfekt ! dein problem kann durch tausende faktoren ausgelöst werden ! zum beispiel :" falsches skelett für deinen körper , nicht kompatible texturen , nicht korrekt deinstallierter mod , mods die sich nicht miteinander vertragen ". es giebt eine menge mehr die ich noch aufzählen könnte , aber das würde den rahmen sprengen . meine vermutung ist , einer deiner letzten mods die du installiert hast , ist der auslöser , entferne diese mod und teste !

MikeMetal Posted August 24, 2013 Posted August 24, 2013 Yeah if you use lots of mods don't be surprised if it gets over 5mb in size. However not all that you see in there is harmful, just the way papyrus works. Anyway your specs are fine and your log doesn't point out much. First, get rid of ASIS, the increased spawns module. Believe me it's not worth. With each extra NPC spawned it bloats your savegame, as the npcs aren't properly "resetted". They are forever in your savegame doesn't matter if you killed them or not. My save was around 28mb when I used it for like 3 months and after getting rid of it as I had enough with ctds the save dropped to ~21mb. Afterwards I crashed way less frequently as the game didn't struggle with those spawns and the loading and qucksaving times were faster. If you want to remove it you'll have delete the script "increasedspawns.pex" from "Data\Scripts" too. Then load the game go to an interior, preferably one of your houses and type PCB (very important) in console. After that you need to wait 30 days for the whole world to resetand hopefully ASIS extra spawned NPCs too. Make a new save here and load it. Afterwards play some more and post if you still get CTDs.
Zenasa Posted August 24, 2013 Author Posted August 24, 2013 Interestingly, now that I'm inside Sarthaal and I'm killing tons of draugr and dying all over the place I haven't crashed once. Gonna keep going, I'll post any other crap that comes up, and I'll get rid of increasedspawns. Thanks a ton.

I just unchecked the plugins and went out and died about 10 times and everything is fine now. Thanks a lot for your help. I really do like ASIS, is there no way to get that to work without killing my game? Is it this way for everyone?

Otherwise expect Papyrus to bitch 24/7, multiple times per SECOND that the script is running without a goal (the .esp provides that). Just check your log and it's size after playing for 5 minutes and see what I'm talking about. I know about the feeling, I hated to drop ASIS too as the world and dungeons seemed so empty afterwards. Fortunately there is a an alternative : http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/16421/?, which is savebloat free, guarantee by me after more than 2 months playing. Read the description very carefully though. It will still crash your game unless you tweak it's spawning settings to your PC's handling. My advice if you want a stable game, stay away from spawning mods. The game's engine HATES them. It's just the way Skyrim deals with multiple AIs, expect a crash sooner or later, in specially while outdoors.
