Freezing after loading... Doesn't happen with Lovers unchecked.

I can load into a save, or new game, but with in.. Maybe 3-4 seconds, the game freezes. I have to ctrl + alt + del, and sometimes even completely restart my computer.

 

I've gone through my mod list, checking and unchecking them, and I've managed to narrow it down to my lovers related mods.

 

I do have the OBSE pluggy, and I use OMOD.

 

Again, when anything lovers, is not selected, the game runs perfectly fine.

You need to run BOSS.  You load order is all out of whack.  After running BOSS then hand order your lovers files per the recommended load order here (click the spoiler):  http://www.loverslab.com/topic/4487-please-read-before-posting-here/

 

You also need to get rid of duplicates or redundant files:

KT_CustomRaceFix.esp   <---this is not needed with UOP as it is already built into it.

_Ren_BeautyPack_onlyhairs.esp   <---- you already have the "full" so why do you have this too?  Delete it.

 

Other items:

zzEstrus.esp   <---if you are running the latest version make certain you have disabled the bu\flee\nudeshy function.

Dairanath Avari - male Companion.esp   <---move this up in your load order.  It should be above the lovers files.

 

Make sure you have installed the Lovers resource pack and the lovers base pack.  Also make sure you have installed and are starting the game with OBSE_loader.exe  (unless you are a steam user, if you are then there is a different method for you as detailed in the obse readme document).

With BOSS will I need to reinstall everything, or will it just do it's own thing?

Boss will just reorganize your load order.  Oblivion is hyper load order sensitive.  Get one thing out of order and it can freak out in a major way.

 

Once you run it use OBMM or Wrye Bash to hand order your lovers files.

 

Then try starting a new game and see if you work correctly.  If a new game works fine, then you can try using your existing saved game (if you have one).
